Good way to discuss non changes stuff and the like for the upcoming game against the pies.

I feel they match up quite well against us and as such am worried about this game. What does everyone else see?

Their backs aren’t a concern but some of their mids have had big games against us and are in form and they also have some forwards in form.

I hope to see a return to 2006 which was the last time both teams were playing good football. We had a 10 goal win. I think it’ll be tighter this time.

We'll smash them by 10 goals, which will cause the new found faith in Bucks to evaporate. The sudden shift in sentiment will cause a civil war within the supporter base, which will lead to a 50% loss of members as they renounce the pies and move to Adelaide to join Port. This exodus from Victoria immediately increases the state's IQ by 30 points, lowering crime and increasing overall cheese platter consumption.

I’m worried. That’s a decent midfield they’re putting out there atm. We would want to be well up and about. If we are then I think we win. If we are a bit scrappy like last week, and they’re on then we’re in trouble.

Short version is we are probably the better team, but not so much that it couldn’t easily go wrong.

Can't afford the same slow start as last week. Even when the Pies were shit, they were capable of piling goals on when their opposition wasn't focussed. its the one good thing Buckley sides have always done. Three goals was manageable, but five or six probably won't be if we pull that again. A fast start is needed, get towards half time with the scores tight, and get the foot in the throttle in the second half.

I think the short turn around from interstate somewhat explains the slow start last week, plus the dogs came out at a million miles an hour which wasn't sustainable. I think this week we will come out firing.

As the other half of the joke goes, the average IQ in Adelaide also goes up by 30 points.

This is going to be a high scoring game. Points will be absolutely piled on both ways. Will end up being a 130-100 win or something to that degree (unless it rains).

I feel like if Collingwood had a day out they could beat us by up to 6 or 7 goals but if we really got rolling then we could put them away by 10+ goals. But most likely I think it will be a tightly fought contest which I'd give us a 55/45 edge to win. It should be an entertaining game.

I have the same feeling. If we let them get off to a flyer memories of round 23 will start flooding in:

we haven't given up 100 points since Hawks/Tigers losses. And the most we've given up all year aside from those is the Cats game. And nothing over 55 in the last three weeks.

No way are we getting anywhere near 80,000 with no trains for the Frankston, Pakenham and Cranbourne lines. Shafted by metro
Remarkable, isn't it? Absolutely ****ed.

Melbourne trains are a concept rather than a reality on weekends. Buses replacing trains is normal.
