A year later we were in a grand final, 2 years later we won this thing

Ok in 2 years time we may not be premiers again, but it just shows that things can turn around quickly, we just need to have faith

I remember that game, its where Cometti kept on saying during the half-time break that McDougall will be our saviour and we just needed to get the ball to him ASAP and also something along the lines of the Eagles are 8 goals down, knock off 5 in the 3rd quarter and over-run the Saints in the last quarter or something to the tune. What we got was the usual gutless McDougall performance.

None of the goal kickers listed saw any premiership action in 06.... hope that's not the same this time. :thumbsd:

deja vu, all over again.

thats like saying the same thing twice.

the team that played in that match had made the finals in 2 previous years. we also had kerr, judd and cousins.

dont mean to be a negative biggie, but this comparison doesnt really fill me with confidence.

just get spangher in the team and we'll be fine.

Aaah, Judd's debut game with the Tony Shaw's memorable quote "Chris Judd - You are a superstar!".

The week before the Saint Kilda game, we beat Sydney (Jako's last game)
The week before this saint kilda game, we beat port

The week after that St Kilda game, we beat Richmond
Hopefully the week after this saint Kilda game, we can beat the bulldogs

Refer to my sig please

Seing as we are reminiscing, i was at the Sydney game in 04, Jako's last game, was good stuff. He kicked 4 goals in the first quarter, and i thought he would kick a bag, but unfortunately he didnt add to his talley.

Geez but what a great player for [strike] our [/strike] your club
