Abbott, Darcy Cameron and Newman would be my ideal rookie draft.
Would be very happy with that too.

Don't see us going another ruck, unless they are an outstanding potential.
For me I'd like Tsitas/Battersby, C Cameron, Newman. However, with Newman, Karpany, Hill, LeCras as smallish forwards, I doubt we'd take Charlie.
So let's say Tsitas, Abbott, Newman.
Abbott I know little about but he seems the perfect speculator for a rookie position.
The rumour is that Abbott may fit the bill.Any big bodied mids available?
More info on Abbott from the AFL website:

The inside word
Originally from Albany, WA. Abbott is a powerful, physical half-back flanker with explosive speed, strength and agility. He has a fantastic vertical leap and a hard-nosed approach to winning the contested ball. Abbott played just seven games for Claremont in the WAFL colts competition and one match for the WA U18s before heading home to Albany for personal reasons. Has the ability to play on taller opponents due to his impressive vertical leap. Ran a lightning quick 2.87s in the 20m sprint at the state combine, making him rare in this category.
Sounds pretty good but wonder why he was not picked up in the national draft?
Was waiting for someone to pick that up.Shares a name with the 'Postcard bandit' could have put a few people off lol. I hope we draft him for the nicknames alone.

He's listed as a medium defender in this afl.com.au article: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/brenden-abbott
sounds to good to be true. what is missing in this story.More info on Abbott from the AFL website:

Youre not alone. It annoyed me also...From afl.com.au:
After the Blues landed Cripps with pick 13 in last week's NAB AFL Draft, the club's national recruiting manager Shane Rogers excited Carlton fans by declaring that the South Australian teenager possessed "a Diesel Williams-like brain", in that "he can see things out of the side of his eyes at the tightest angle".
This annoyed me no end
Batterbsy and Templeton both "of interest" to WC according to Twomey in the Rookie Draft live chat on AFL site.
According to bigfooty rumours we like this fella ?
