The onus is on you to prove that he's overrated. Personally, I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that he is.

The way he gets spoken of like he's an important, damaging player. Very average.

I'm not out to prove anything or win any argument (I'm not clamouring for precious e-cred), just offering my opinion on the player, and my feeling that he's no great loss.

I disagree. He brings genuine pace to a team that is lacking in that department. His tackling pressure is sublime, and has good rebound to cap it off. He's not Birchall or McVeigh, but he's still an important role player who is in our 22.

I'm not going to go the obvious cheap shots, but a serious question.

What do you suggest Bomber does? Turn around and say "oh we botched our protocols with that supplements thing that time, guess we'll just never enforce them ever again".

If anything this is an extremely efficient reminder that all rules are to be followed from now on. Can't harp on about the same thing forever and ever.

For what it's worth I don't think Melbourne would look that much better with him in the side. But then we've got enough players that don't actually play as it is.
