You're comparing apples and oranges. Keeffe was on the main - Cat A rookie list. We have to have a minimum 3 changes to that list each season as decreed by the AFL. Keeffe's contract situation relative to others likely meant he drew the short straw. Madgen is a Cat B rookie and additional to the main - Cat A list so having him on the list has no bearing on how Keeffe was treated. It's also interesting to actually compare the 2 although you do need to factor in that Keeffey has played a variety of roles.
