Punchy Bassett said:Dew is a LAZY LAZY HBF nothing more, can anyone here honestly say he could get 40-60 goals a year up front, no bloody way. Dew is rubbish.
SpringChoke said:Both sets of supporters consider these two "match winners" but they rarely win a game off their own boot. Who would you prefer?

*PAF said:In fairness to Dew, when he hasn't been injured he has done well.
He has had problems with groin injuries and his type of game is such that it will effect it.
You can usually tell with his kicking if he is injured or not. If he kicks through the ball and gets 50 to 60 metres easily then he is fine. If he pulls his shots then he probably shouldn't be out there.
Playing him repeatedly whilst injured is another matter.

macca23 - Sure Dew let us down the other night and was terrible. You make it sound like Burton has never let the Crows down and had terrible games. I think we all know that is not true.
...although that would nearly do it

Hard to say.birdmanptr said:Do you think he is used correctly i reckon he is played out of postion for mine he is a dead set half back who with his big kick the ball can go from defensive 50 to attacking 50 with one kick
Thanks for your response*PAF said:Hard to say.
Unless Dew is fit I wouldn't have him anywhere but the forward line. Up front he can still kick goals as he has plenty of footy smarts and skills.
However a fit Dew would be more beneficial to Port.
Dew had OP for two years and that is when he started getting called lazy.
Beginning of last year he was fit and was one of our best players week in week out. Towards the end of last year rumors started coming out that his OP was playing up again and that could explain why his form dipped.
This year? Dunno it's only been one game.
The question(s) then becomes is he fit? If not, should he be playing?
Anyway I think the replies will come back along party lines as "the devil you know...".
I'd be ******** scared to have Burton playing for us in an important game anywhere bar the forward line. Again honest answer but like I said along "party lines".
