Did Sydney cheat?

It was very well timed stretcher for Sydney but we will never know if it cost us the game - most likely it didn't. Calling Leppa a flog because he asked the question in the press conference is ridiculous. He is entitled to ask questions. As the coach of my side i am glad he did. I bet if the show had been on the other foot the Swans fans would be asking questions as well.

As for complaints about Christensen getting soft free kicks. You might have forgotten that Hewett from Sydney benefited from some wonderful head ducking / knee dropping efforts in the first qtr.

You wish you had some hard players at your club like him and not all the pretty boy make up crew you current have, that if can only beat dismal Brisbane by a slim margin, will not win the flag this year. Prime time sydney swans

Bit cocky after a win over Melbourne of all teams.

I just heard Leppitsch talking about this at his press conference. He sounded like an absolute flog. He was also absolutely right imo.

He was absolutely wrong about when and how the injury occurred, and what the rules are for when a stretcher is called out.

Other than that he was absolutely right into.

South Melbourne bit cocky after moving cities and becoming the AFL's love child. I'd say the arrogance represented on this thread by their supporters represents fear, fear that you are about to be over taken by a better younger brother of a team and it will no longer be your city to dodge up for the next number of decades with the COLA

It was a disgrace and cost the Lions the game. I found it strange how he was crawling around the place acting like he done an ACL, then as soon as the stretcher was called he got up and jogged off like nothing happened. I hope they lose premiership points over this!

I would love to see GWS win a flag TBH, they are sensational to watch and a list full of talent. I ain't into this big Rivalry shit ,if the Swans cannot win the flag my second team would be the Giants.

If you read the relevant gameday thread you'll find many Swans supporters went to that game to cheer GWS on. No fear. Just quiet enjoyment.

I love watching GWS play - they'd be my 2nd most watched side these days. Love that there are 2 sides in Sydney carving up the competition, and look forward to a Swans v GWS GF one day.

If you think Sinclair decided to stay down whilst the ball travelled to the other end of the ground, on the off chance it got into a dangerous position so a stretcher could be called, but then messed up the ruse by getting up, you are a dead set moron of the highest order.

The stretcher incident was innocent at best and bending the rules at worse.

So let's see ...
Swans got a 2 year trading ban for following the rules, so probably deserve a 4 year ban for bending them. Breaking the rules should warrant a 10 year ban.

That will teach em !!!!

Come on.
It was a set move. They train for this!!!

Haha we actually love GWS. Awesome team!

nope. don't like divers, fakers or other slime balls. the spirit of our footy has always been the game goes on unless the play will impact and injured players and only as an absolute last resort would a team doctor, bring on a stretcher for an immobile player - most knee injuries jog of or are helpd off
So drugs are ok but injuries not so much lol.

No, but for the sake of argument let's say yes and call it all square after Christensen was gifted a goal by pretending to take a shot to the head and go into cardiac arrest when he wasn't touched.
