D4 Division 4 2018

Some cracking games this week....Match of the round would have to be Eley Park v St Francis followed by Elsternwick v Mt Lilydale ... all others games are up for grabs also. Looks like it could be a very even D4 other than Masala at this stage with no disrespect to them.

Don't they have to play finals?? Only new to the league but been told there finals campaigns aren't the greatest. Saw st Francis play on Sat. Terrible conditions but they have some quality players so i wouldn't ride them off. but haven't seen nth play so only opinion.

Early doors but St Francis, Sth Melbourne, Nth Brunswick seem like the main contenders at this stage.
Anyone that's played these teams have an opinion ?, for me the Xmen have been the big improvers and will be hard to beat.

Following mt lilydale and from what I have seen st Francis the team to beat. Picked up some quality players. On saying that though do love to front run so could get caught out in my opinion to a structured side. Sth melbourne didn't over impress rd 1vs mt lilydale. Mt lilydale played poor footy. Haven't seen nth Brunswick but here their well drilled. Looking fwd to half way through the season to see how it's shaping.

Eley Park too good for us on the day, they kicked the first 5 goals to our 5 points which didn’t help, we were two down injured at half time and they ran away with it in the second half, any other clubs struggling for consistent numbers? We have used 67 players in 4 weeks

I’ve just taking over as coach and have a lot of connections through footy and cricket on the peninsula but the problem is for us is commitment, injuries and availability’s week to week, we haven’t had to leave anyone out of the reserves yet and the twos were 3 short on Saturday, just frustrating and wondering if other clubs have the same issues these days

Well done mate.. you can't do much about injuries and commitment is an issue everywhere. Good luck to you mate you have obviously done a great job to get those kind of numbers and I'm sure your hard work will pay off in the long run!.

76 players registered for 2 teams at mt lilydale and still struggle to get a side for the reserves. It's amazing comitment levels are so inconsistent in Amos. Makes it extremly hard to play good footy when the teams change so much from week to week. But sounds the same for most clubs.

42 outs this week
