Looks are important to everyone - anyone that says otherwise is lying and full of sh*t.
Of course looks are important....i said on a different thread that you could be the nicest, funniest best person in the world, but if you look like a turtles scrotum then it all means nothing in the end.
Thats just the way society is no matter how wrong it is.
Women are also full of sh*t. They say they dont judge people on looks, but ive lost count the amount of times ive been told "im so nice" or *cough* "cute". Cute in female talk = ugly bastard but i dont wanna be mean so ill call him cute.
Unfortunatly if you are told you are 'nice' or 'cute' it means you have no chance with that particular person.
you could be the dumbest person in the world - but that doesnt matter - as long as your hot youll pull all the good girls and be popular anyway.
its full of **** but thats the way society works.
as the saying goes "nice guys finish last" - and that is so damn true.
You cant have a relationship where you are not physically attracted to someone - otherwise it wont work. There needs to be a balance between looks and personality.
My last gf wasnt exactly gorgeous, but i loved her anyway cos we got along like a house on fire and we were well suited.
there is no point in going out with someone that is drop dead gorgeous but has the same iq as their bra size.
in the end personality and looks are BOTH equally important, you cant have one without the other....but generally speaking - the better looking people in society giet all the breaks

Oh, excuse me for misspelling (actually it was a typo) - am I to assume that you never make mistakes? I choose not to pick people up on their mistakes (is it just a way of increasing your post count???), as I'd be here all day!!! 
The guy I like at the moment is gorgeous, but I seem to be the only one who thinks so. He's cute anyway, funny, smart and makes me laugh - and I couldn't give a rats arse if hes a bit zitty, skinny with a potbelly and overall a bit doofussy.

Actually, I am fairly touchy today. I'm not normally a moody person, but everything is catching up with me. I've recently split from my husband, sold the house (and bought another but haven't moved in yet), both grandparents have died and their houses have recently sold, and I've gotta move back home to mum's for a couple of months. Anyway, there's my vent...
Hopefully I'll be my normal cheerful self shortly...meanwhile, I am single and looking (to answer another thread!) and no, I don't believe that looks are the most important thing though certainly part of the initial attraction

Nicki ... looks is what draws two people together in the first place. You can never know ones personality by just looking at them ... why do you think most good looking people turn out to be self-obcessed pigs. It's the looks that bind first off.
A relationship cannot and will not survive without some kind of physical attraction.
