He also let loose about about former coach Damien Hardwick when he had been dropped in 2014.
“After round one, I ended up getting dropped by Dima,” King said.
“He did it over the phone. He didn’t do it in person. I did what most people did and asked to meet Dima to have a chat.”
King called Hardwick when he wasn't at the club, when the coach replied: “I’m not an idiot. I’m not gonna let you punch the f--- out of me because I dropped you.’”
King said: “I spent the next eight weeks in the reserves because I’d told (Hardwick) exactly what I thought of him. It wasn’t much fun.”
I think that was a piss take but whatever rocks your boat

In King's defence; that's not how Wallace tells the story. Wallace has made it public that King only went with Newman because no one else stood up and said they would. King didn't want Newman to have to go it alone. Wallace still maintains that he has nothing but respect for King on how it all went down.
A truthful fact and Wallace in the same paragraph on this forum? I have no idea how it survived moderation, they must be busy fantasising about September 2017.
Any predictions on Dimmer's lines for next year? 'Loss of Deledio/experience' is a pretty safe lead. Vickery may well get a run. 'New faces...new system...time to gel' seems likely. If we have a single injury heading into the season he can drag out that old standby.
He's heading into uncharted terrain in terms of being the least successful coach in the history of the game, I'm expecting huge things from Dimmer's six volume collection of intellectually offensive, dishonest, piss-weak excuses in 2017.

It seems 13 people accidently clicked the wrong voting option.
Why have you got Joe Russo's concretor for your avatar ?So trade week is over and we can resume normal transmission in the thread that just keeps giving. Lmaoooo.
Well he has only used up 7 so 2 more to go.Seriously, whats going on? It's november and he is still here. Surely the club don't think that the cat has another life.
I just think if they are half planning to sack him mid year it will be a whole wasted season. Best to rip the band-aid off quickly IMO.Well he has only used up 7 so 2 more to go.![]()
Yeah look, there are 17 other quality sides out there and 2017 will be our toughest challenge yet......I just think if they are half planning to sack him mid year it will be a whole wasted season. Best to rip the band-aid off quickly IMO.
