I don't think so....

I'm past the anger stage, and have had a chance to reflect on the poor first half of Geelong last week (let's not lose sight of the fact we were smashed in the first half, but outscored the Kangaroos in the second half), and our last gasp loss to Hawthorn.

It is so easy to blame Bomber, but the fact is when the players are on the field, it is up to them. If , as Chappie said, there are players who aren't committed, then they should be dropped. That is the challenge for Bomber.

You could tell after last week's loss Bomber was hurting.

Let's get behind him. It is only round 5. Our percentage is healthy, and our player list is good, at least on paper. Let's not play into the hands of lesser teams like Richmond.

I am confident we will smash Richmond on Sunday.

when was the last time we won a close one though? Seems like an eternity that we were able to hold on to a lead or come back from reasonably large deficits. Remember the games in the 90's (especially against the Kangas) where we would be down by 30 odd at half time yet come back from the near dead to win by a few points?? Half time last week I turned it off and went and did other things because I just could not see them doing the same thing.

Looks like he is hurting most weeks - hasn't changed much around the club though has it :)

you can also wipe your arse with paper :D

I wish I could say the same - we should, I hope we do, I really do.

So what if we outscored the Kangas in the 2nd half, we still bloody lost another game we should have really won. I'm not confident that we'll smash Richmond.

thats a load of hoghwash if i ever heard it...the coach is there to motivate the players and make sure they are ready to play.

Do we keep under achieving players for 8 years? No we don't,he's time is up,everyone including him know that.
The club should be out there right now canvassing prospective coach's if they are in any way professional .

This was my gripe last year - it was going from bad to .....
And we were getting pathetic excuses from Bomber and sweet BA from the club. Little wonder they were worried about memberships for 2007.
They should be even more worried about memberships from here on.
Balme has certainly helped the situation this year and seems a calm but concerned voice - but we still feel marginalised - fodder for memberships - but for God's sake don't listen to them(us!)

New coaching staff required. Period.

Dead wood needs an axe applied. Period.

Recuitment and player services performance is commendable.

The board, well... What did the review tell us last year? Hmm, we're gullible ("naive and easily deceived or tricked" according to Oxford).

I'm happy (to a lesser extent) to see that memberships are down. It's a sign to the board that there is a shift in the attitude of cats fans. No more mediocrity will be accepted. Make some decisions, hard and final as they may be.

It stands to reason that without change nothing is going to improve.

Then let us kick out Enright. He's part of the problem.

We need more midfiled recruits next draft.
