Would like to know how many posters on big footy actually play the game they love. Please be honest.

My 1st season was last season, and i loved it so i'm playing again.. (I'm 15, turning 16 this year)

Played since about 10 yrs old to about 28.(10yrs ago)
Senior footy approx 8 yrs, loved it... wish I still could

Thanks for voting sorry I didn't include more options. In regards to the poll I first played footy as 13 and loved ever since. Dropped basketball like a bad habit played 1 year of colts, 1 year of B - grade and A grade up until last year. Too lazy to get back in shape after hurting my knee.

Played back in U10-12's. Had a long break then started up agian last year in U17's. Now playing Seniors.

Where's the cant because of injuries option. 2 knee reco's have knocked me out of the playing side of things. Coaching this year

Yeah we need an injury excuse! A shoulder reco when I was 15 my right shoulder is shot to the shizen... no flexibility at all but played footy for Avondale Heights FC from U/10 to U/18

But hopefully, I might make a come back when I return to Australia later this year :thumbsu:

I played 100 games for the Richmond Junior Footy Club.

Moved onto Prahran/Caufield now.

BTW I am 18 years old.

My first season was 2 years ago. Under 17's.Got my first premiership in my first year and just short in my second year in the prelim. Now im up to under 19s but aint playing.

I started playing when i was 7 and have played every season since , which makes this my 17th season as i am now 24...i have also not missed more than 1 game in any given season through injury so have been very lucky in that regard (touch wood)

Used to play at AFL level when it was known as the VFL at a club that no longer exists (in Melbourne). My career was cut short due to gambling and womanizing problems although StKilda did make a last ditch effort to revive my career. In the end I decided hanging out at Bojangles nightclub was just the same... I no longer play.

I remember you from Bojangles in the old days. Hope all is well.

Played last two years - taking this year of because of year 12 and having school Saturday morning maths classes(same time as games). Have every intention to return next year, though.

What age group are you going to return too?

I don't think i've ever even picked up an AFL ball, let alone actually played the game.
Do you really like footy???

Or are you a girly-girl???

Or are you a girly-boy???

Played my 1st U17's game at the age of 8 and finished with over 100 games in that grade. I have just knocked up 282 club games at the age of 27. I reckon I've still got 6 good years left and 5 not so good. The only year I haven't play was 12 months off with a knee reco.
