Does Ben Cousins deserve another chance in the AFL?

I am undecided. A part of me thinks Cousins doesn't deserve to play AFL because of the chances he's had, another part feels for his 'addiction'.

If you had to make the decision to have him return next year, what would your answer to Ben be, YES OR NO.

I am all for second chances, there would of course have to be conditions attached to his contract no matter how ALFPA feels about that.

If the club that takes him on manages and monitors him well, I think he still has a lot of good footy in him.

Technically this is his 3rd chance. He was sacked after his second.

But its all irrelevant because he deserves his chance to prove that he's over his demons.

He's actually had about 12 or 13 chances. Why should a bloke like that get another shot at the privilege of playing AFL.

If he's clean and committed, I don't see why not. Punishment should always be in the form of rehabilitation, and keeping him out of the AFL despite his progress would be unfair.
