Probably a lot of others saw this, but the club hit 30,000 the other day. That's a long way shy of the 50,000 target.
Do you know when that target is supposed to be achieved by?

I'm guessing they'll be pushing a lot of promotion at games then.I think it's just 50k 2014 members... so... whenever the cutoff date is... June?

I'm definitely a night game lover, the only Kardinia games I went to were at night last year. Edit: And the final that I'm trying to forget...It's only really relevant compared to the total at the same time in previous years. I don't have those figures (I'm sure someone could find some relevant comparisons from previous threads), but my guess is that we're ahead of last year. Last year's total was inflated with a blitz near midseason, advertising three-game packages at Simonds (including the Gold Coast game there). Pretty sure they were trying to get 10k signed up in a month or something, on the back of that campaign. And I would have thought the vast majority of three-gamers wouldn't sign up until the eve of the season, at the very earliest. I'll either get a home membership or a Melbourne membership and I'm almost never signed up until March.
I think the tally could see some transition (people jumping on board and others going off) due to the extent of the night games at Kardinia Park, now that people have been able to try it out and see what they think. Of the six games that have been locked in (we don't know when Round 23 will be played at this stage), four are at night and another is a twilight game. Lots of people love the night games at Simonds, but plenty will choose to stay at home and watch those games, especially people from Melbourne.
