Hynes with the 4th most pressure acts of any bulldog. Very encouraging game. Love his body work to create space in our forward. Reckon we’ve got a player here
There was one pressure act I distinctly remember in the middle of the ground leading to a turnover.

The kid looked like a man possessed, looked very quick. We were probably up by around 70 at the time.

Awesome stuff. Would love to see him pick up the ball between 60-70 out more and see what he can really do with ball in hand.

The goal sense is super encouraging to see

I thought those “late” spoils on English all night were pretty suspect.

Really good performance but obviously against weak opposition. Thought Coffield offered something!
Coffield backed himself to mark it more often than not kicking was ok but could have been a bit better was a pretty good first up game. Hope he can build from there.

Cooper Hynes is coming along quite nicely.
Has clean hands which is an important attribute. Will be a strong positive in his development as an inside mid down the track. Also his finishing has been good so has a secondary position until he develops

Surprised with Kennedy. I thought he was a bit off his usual output. I'd have put Davidson in there.
Ditto. Davidson covers a hell of a lot of ground. Really important the way he runs back when the opposition have the ball.

I know this may not be the right thread but can someone explain to me how jdolan gets a game in front of rgarcia ?
He being Dolan is not very productive right now but can see he has "it" He will be a player long term and we are getting development games into him. Garcia hasn't been available up until now and with some VFL games might come into contention. And push Dolan out for the time being.

Can't hurt having selection pressure for the spots in the team. And those development games won't be wasted and help to push forward Dolan's progress.

I've said it before but he reminds me so much of Clay Smith, even down to the snap goals.

This game is why i'm still a Coffield fan and wanted him in the last few weeks.

Yes it was only Richmond and an easier game for him, but his positioning is consistently very good, nice safe hands and a fairly reliable kick. Screams natural footballer who was a captain through his juniors and can play that medium sized defender position very well. Now I wouldn't feel as safe if we had him lined up on a Kozi Pickett, Jamie Elliott etc, but player a looser role and using his size and football brain I like a lot. Just hopefully he can stay healthy and get a decent run at it.

Put him on Francis this week and he will do wonders
