When are you taking me out on your boat?
You know how humble the Gimp is. For those of us still shook up from Goldy's ACL he didn't want to make us feel any worse by making us feel inadequate about our own fishing skills
Hahaha.. are you planning on walking into a party.. like you were walking on to a yacht?
I'm confused
I don’t care about the fishing, just want to go out on your yacht.
Went fishing today.. caught some good bara re..

I've been a follower and lover of formula 1 for many years now (since 2010), but despite having a grand prix here in Melbourne, I've never been.

Due to my depression and anxiety I tend to avoid most social situations, especially those I have to pay money for.
Even going to the shops is sometimes a task for me.

I said to myself the other day I have to realise how lucky I am living in Melbourne and having the opportunity to just take a tram to a grand prix 15 mins away. As not many people in the world get that opportunity.

After some time thinking, I said **** the social situation and I finally bought tickets for the GP!

Im so happy I just had to share it with y'all! Hehe. :D

Good call - otherwise you would be a dickhead Brunswick hipster re:

The 2 most important things a man must own are a good quality pair of shoes.. and some decent cologne.

Invictus. Spicebomb. Eros. Mont Blanc Individuel. 4 of my fav in my collection. Polo Black wouldn't recommend it.. worst buy. Out of these.. probably Spicebomb.. animal of a cologne.

Best affordable colognes Hugo Boss 1. Nautica Voyage at $20 is a bargain.. great summer cologne re. Bought a few bottles of the shit from Fairfield Chemist Warehouse.. difficult to find elsewhere.. well at least at the time I got the shit re.

Bit of a random thought here, which is what this thread is for I guess.

With equality being a major talking point in the media recently it got me thinking.

Do you think we will see a Mother/Daughter rule? Additionally does a Father/daughter or a Mother/Son rule also need to be considered?

Looks like a Bob Murphy and Max Gawn hybrid.

Bob Murphy with his try hard Confucius quotes.. would do well sitting at a cafe down Brunswick St sipping on some organic tea that tastes like wastage. He must look back and cringe at his premiership speech. Life coaches and quote spinning Brunswick St types.. they're f greats re

Think we already have a father/daughter rule in the AFLW, which we didn’t activate in the case of Erin Phillips?

Mother/daughter rule will come soon enough. Despite the predictions from some quarters that the AFLW will sink without a trace, the competition appears to be forging ahead. The introduction of new teams from next year will have an impact, but 3-5 year’s from now it will be a very strong league. And the new girls in this year - our own Chloe Molloy being a prime example - are showing that the young class and talent is out there, it just needs time and resources to come on line.

Anyway, I have digressed from your post. The mods might want to move this discussion to the AFLW page.

A bit of self refletion here...
A fellow Pie poster called me a 'self proclaimed feminist' in another thread.
Now I don't see myself as that but came across this meme that I thought was funny and if I post it, does it confirm?:p

Ask Milo Yiannopoulos.. if you don't know he is.. look him up.

Well ask someone down Brunswick St then.. apparently they know everything.
Brunswick Street, gone downhill in the past few years, lots of empty shops, no atmosphere.
I blame YOU!

You can still try their vegan shops.. or save your time.. and eat the grass you mow.. or go to one of their many beautiful bars and sit down on a couch that hasn't been cleaned in 30 yrs.. sit and have a drink.. and enjoy the wafts of odor that comes out of em.

Dunno trying to help you out here re.

You seem to know it well, I wonder how?

You only need to go there once to understand it.. the beautiful surrounds.. the grafiti.. apparently steeped in history.. old clothing factories.. great how we conjured up 5c of tourism out of it re.. sit on the deck at Naked for Satan and be inspired by views of halia

Well done. You will love it.
GA or did you sell the house.
I’ve been lucky to have attended twice on a corporate ticket. A great day.
Unfortunately you’ve missed the best of the cars. In the hybrid era they just don’t sound right.
But they still have speed and awesome cornering power!
Enjoy!

GA. 4 day pass for $100 on concession. Probably won't go to the Thursday depending on the weather. Might just go to suss out the best vantage points as im sure it won't be as busy.

No way was I going to sell the house for a grandstand seat. Especially because they don't offer concession for them.

Yeah man I know. Gone are the days of the v10s and v8s. I'll probably just listen to track commentary on a pair of headphones anyway.

Also **** the halo :(

Cheers mate will enjoy.

The farking halo........I forgot about that monstrosity.
While not wanting to see death on the track, I’ve always loved being able to see the drivers and know the risk they are taking.
Another tooth removed from the Tiger.
Not long now and the poor thing will be toothless.

No F1’s on Thursday, hardly worth the effort.

The halo isn't designed to protect against much anyway.

I reckon it was rushed in so the FIA can cover themselves through the ongoing Jules Bianchi lawsuit. Sort of like a "Hey look, We are doing something" -- when we all know Jules Bianchi died in a freak accident when there was a ****ing tractor on the track during a yellow flag.

I hope the halo has a short life. Please just give us the aeroscreen if you want to give some kind of "cockpit protection"

These current cars would be the nicest looking F1 cars EVER if it wasn't for that monstrosity, and it's added 10kg to the chassis weight. Drivers said during testing it feels like they're driving boats.
