Because we haven't got a pick in the top 30 this year, I haven't taken much interest in this draft what so ever.

So I'm taking tonight's draft like a lucky dip when I was younger. Put your hand in the box, have a feel around, pull one out and pretend it's what I wanted all along

great selection if:
a lesser talented magpie is chosen over a victorian
is over 195cm

terrible selection if:
has poor highlights on afl.com.au
is under 180cm
isn't mentioned in Knightmare's draft

at least thats the immediate reactions sorted.

Lots of late mail of us selecting james rose at 56. I'm pretty excited about tonight even though we start late; not knowing and the twists shifts and changes of the picks above us make draft night that more interesting. I'm pretty certain we'll pick 1 maybe 2 absolute randoms that no one on big footy has any idea of, hopefully it will be a gem.

How far will bampton and smith slide?
What happens if glenn, Frampton, bampton, Ramsey, Pittonet, (most of the bigfooty favourites) get selected before 56?
Will Krakouer be put on the main list?
What will be the reaction if we pick up lonie?
Whats going to happen with caleb Daniel tonight?

All these unknowns keeps me intrigued

Development KPD (like Ramsey or Jackson) is my number 1 want.
Experienced Backpocket player like Krakouer or maybe Glenn
Another winger like Johansen or Maybe a tough little nugget mid like Celeb Daniel
Development Ruck (would not be surprised if we wait to rookie list a guy in this position)
If we take a ruck in the rookie draft then for our 4th pick gamble on a fast kid like we did last year with Amon.

I hope Parker owns us all and gets someone out of the blue that they've been tracking for a while like Impy was last year.

but still, Fordham, Tester, and McKenzie would be alright.

Most guys I know I've seen plenty of footage of.
But no doubt Port will pick 4 guys I've never heard of which will force me to look at poorly made highlights on afl.com

On my foxtel it says 6pm SA time. with Gold Coast vs Bulldogs from round 10 on beforehand.
