With the draft starting in under 5 hours, I think it's time to start this annual thread to cover all the happenings from tonights event.

It starts at 4pm WST/7pm AEST.

Three WA boys are attending the event on the Gold Coast; Swallow, Bennell and Conca.

Our picks are 20, 44, 56 and 72.

Was on the Goldy last 2 days for a work conferance. At the hotel I staying in I bumped in to Terry Wallace, Jason Dunstal, Craig Hutchinson (vomit), Carro (double vomit), and way too many beers... triple vomit!

Cannot believe they are going with the 'secret' pre-selected Top 10 format again! My god amazing after Day@3 and Bennell@2 - who will possibly be #1 . Just absurd.

True excitement is aka NFL draft format - club goes on the clock and selects a player - to the cheers or jeers of a gallery of die-hard fans in the room.

I wish the AFL & Fox could just buy brains.
Once we get to Pick 6 then they are basically locked in towards number 1.
If it is done the proper way around then at least the guess work is obviously higher as each pick comes around.
It's not rocket science .....geeez !!!

On a positive at least we have the option of the red button to use so we can see who is being drafted & some info on the player rather than the needless chatter that Dunstall & co put up last year.

You've gotta be cunning and detect the slightest bit of passive-agressiveness and if it's sounding like she's being just a little bit too 'reasonable' be scared.
