But we are not taking them they are training with us but not officially on the list .

It would be a s**t position to be that player.
Yes and no.

Glass half full or half empty I suppose. If there is one spot available (and there is a guaranteed spot available) would you take the chance to be one of 2 players to audition for it?

Of course it will be devastating for the guy that misses out, but on the other hand as the saying goes - you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

I'm guessing there is some sort of allowance/payment sanctioned by the AFL also. Surely there would have to be a living allowance of sorts.

Can we get him and Pickett or just the one?

Any other stats on him - age, height etc.

Maybe McKenzie was on a SA club's NGA and they didnt pick him so that means he's available

Not sure if that is correct but would make sense

BOND 007

Hey BOND, what's the knock on Darcy Chirgwin? Good height and weight, strong inside, could be the redden replacement. He was overlooked by every club.

If we had of kept pick 24 (ended up being 27) instead of trading it to Geelong in the Kelly trade, would we have taken Jeremy Sharp or live traded it to Gold Coast for pick 11 next year?

Probably deserves its own new thread, but a crack at a best 22 (assuming Willie gone and the Pickett thing happens)

Duggan Barrass Hurn
Jetta Gov Shep
Gaff Redden Sheed
Cripps Darling Kelly
Allen JK Ryan

NN Yeo Shuey

Williams Petrucelle Nelson Venables

EMG Hutch Hickey Waterman

Williams and Oscar to share backup ruck/3rd tall duties. Oscar can swing back if needed.

Probably forgetting someone obvious

Like Cameron?

Anyone notice that all our draftees have one specific trait? Thet take the game on and attack with run and by foot.

Great recruiting. Notice a change in strategy over the vanilla types we've historically gone for.

A while ago we were looking one paced and had only a handful of good kicks. Over the past 3=4 drafts we have brought in multiple types to address that weakness.

Can't answer for other clubs but WC felt there were more pressing needs.
Lets see how his next season goes
I know you're being pepperedby questions bond, but how bad was O'Neill's knee injury?
