Listen, if there was a doubt by the Crows he wouldn't even be mentioned coming to us. With his talent, you take the chance. He is the same as Weideman, lots of talent but hurt, both will take medicals and pass them.

lol you don't know that they will pass them, people are linking him to mostly because he's a south australian, and of course there is some doubt, it's about weighing up the risk, even if we pick him there will be still be questions marks. To say there is no doubt is ridiculous.

Completely agree with this and was thinking the same thing. Although, if Francis isn't available, I believe Milera, if he is, should be our first pick. I feel he has the capacity to turn into an excellent outside mid.

How many outside mids do we need? With Seedsman, Hampton, Wigg, Smith, Douglas we are well covered. Inside mids maybe not quite do much but Both Crouches, Thommo, CEY, Gore, now watch this lad surprise us all, Lyons with VB in reserve we have enough. I would prefer Oliver ahead of Milera purely based on his body size. Like everyone, that is my opinion. As I have said before I would personally take both the McKays if available, but I reckon Harrison will go before our first pick.

How funny is that, in one trade period we have gone from too many inside mids to too few lol!

Milera has been touted as a Forward/Mid and Oliver as a pure midfielder. As for your assertion, the others are only HBF this is wrong. They could play wing very easily. Hampton and Seedsman were both in the midfield in their junior days. What I have trouble believing is how players get buttoned- holed into positions these days. We do not play NFL, our game is different and this crazy idea of only being suited to one position is crazy.

Tucker. People are saying he's fast but I wanted to know just how fast. He's not top 10 for sprints or repeat sprints at the combine but I assume he's not far behind?

Althouh i dont think we'd get both, i feel we are a good chance of getting either Francis or milera. I think the choice will need made for us in the end though.

For our second pick I'd be willing to role the dice on Burton.

He was training and doing rehab there as part of the Crows academy. You are right with the point you raised.

Okay, can someone convince me why we should take Ah Chee at 13? Jeffcrowe FAITH ? I'm fence-sitting at the moment, but I'm leaning towards wanting him due to his seemingly pure talent.

Because every time he jumps up a level he plays better , ie the better the standard the better he plays ....his best game all year was in an academy game ( Australia U18) vs a VFL side and his next best game was in his wafl debut where he was a match winner

In terms of this year's draft there ain't many with the kind of ability to be able to do that

Sure he had a quiet carnival in U18s but WA were awful and he was playing predominantly forward

He also seems a very solid character , humble , smart and respectful

He has the talent to be more than just a forward in the right system with good coaching ...speed , skill level , match winning ability which I think we need a bit of - guys that raise a level when the stakes are high ( to help us win games like the freo and hawthorn games we lost at home)

Maybe if we miss milera at 9 we go for Ah Chee at 13 ...not impossible we grab both as different enough in style but similar roles I guess . Would be confident either can develop enough versatility to be more than just forwards
