List Mgmt. Draft Watch 2015

So the AFL site is now saying it is expected to be the smallest draft in history. That won't stop me from having a Captain Cook when it's held at the Convention Centre, though.
You can leave after pick 13 anyway.

AFC was the only club that asked for a 2nd interview the following day after the 1st day giving him an absolute grilling, that would indicate a level of interest to me, also asked him to draw some game structures etc at his 2nd interview, that would also indicate a level of interest to me ...

"The second interview was about different topics, and whether I'd like to move to Adelaide. They also had me to draw some game structures."

Whoever Ogilvie and the team settle on I'll be backing in because their recent record at identifying young talent is first class, that along with having far better resources at their disposal to judge individual players than rank "amateurs" like us Big Footy eggspurts...:)
Or it could simply be the case of leaving no stone unturned in identifying the best talent for pick 9 and 13. We haven't had early picks for a while and it's imperative that we draft 200 game players with both of our picks. No margin for error with us here so I would not be surprised that once we identify our top 15-20 kids, that we interview all of them multiple times just to make sure that we have not missed anything.

There is no doubt Tucker has a lot of qualities that we like in our players but that does not mean that he is someone that we are most interested in.

I still say, that traditionally, AFC has gone with structural players with early picks and given what we did during the trade period, I got no reason to doubt we would continue that trend. I suspect for us it's inside mids and KPPs.

I don't disagree with any of that, my point was simply that Tucker would seem to be one of the players on our radar at this stage, plenty of water to go under the bridge before draft day. New Coach, new game plan, new structures could also see us move away from tradition, really who knows??

This is the order that I would go into the draft with if I was an Adelaide recruiter:
1- Schache
2- Weitering
3- Parish
(Mills)
(Hopper)
4- Weideman
5- Francis
(M.Kennedy)
6- Mathieson
7- H.McKay
8- Milera
9- Balic
10- Tucker
(Keays)
11- R.Clarke
12- Curnow
13- Oliver
14- Ah Chee
15- Hibberd
(Hipwood)
16- Burton
17- Bonner

If we managed to pick up one of Schache, Weideman or H.McKay at 9 I would cross the others as well as Curnow and Burton off the list for pick 13. Apart from that I would just work through those names from top to bottom.

... having a Captain Cook ...

To help avoid having to type in "g o o g l e ...", means: shortened to “having a captain's”, means having a look, such as the English explorer did, with amazement, when he first came upon the southern continent.

It's one of the Australian expressions I find funny

He would have to snort 17 lines of coke whilst booing Adam Goodes on A Current Affair to fall to pick 9.
In any case we'd take Weitering before any other player including Schache in this draft as would all clubs IMO, he's the standout.

Why is everyone saying Mckay he's around the 13 mark?
Supports the AFC?
KPF that we need?

sorry haven't read all the other pages

Would definitely take Francis before parish , otherwise not bad
