List Mgmt. Draft Watch 2015

As I said before, I got my draft tickets on Wednesday and previously wasn't able to access them via that Ticketmaster log in. It now appears to be working me and allowing me to print them! Still on my phone however so can't just yet so I'm a little scared to log off until I can print them later on haha:p

I am using iJunk and hit the print tickets button on the confirmation page. Then used the email function at the bottom to email them to myself.
I now have the PDF to print.

I got 2, confirmed, but did it on my phone so couldn't print them. I'm now going back in to my account to print them and it says I didn't order them.

Nice.
Exact same problem im having... ive sent an email to aflticketing@afl.com.au. Did you get an order confirmation? I did so think maybe our orders have been processed but we just dont have access to our physical tickets.

Please tell me you guys going are going to make it like the NBA draft in New York.

I want booing of the commissioner/ AFL Pres every time an announcement is made. I want booing of other picks, especially any academy picks and over the top celebrating of the Crows two picks. If we get Francis I want someone to do a nudie run through the place screaming "Go Crows".

Please.
I'll be on the beers early & doing my best to get kicked out.

A group of my mates wanted tickets so one guy got 8 tickets. Not sure if it's GA or resevred but I can understand a group wanting to sit together or get the tickets in one group.
Same here. We're going as a large group so I grabbed tickets for all. If any become free, I'll let this thread know!

Ok, so what I said was based on my personal feeling from the footage I've seen so I decided to quickly have a look at what else has been said about him.

Knightmare seems to confirm what I saw:

AFL draft central rated his kicking as poor and says:

None of this did anything to dispel my impression that he might develop into a Jenkins type eventually.

That isn't necessarily bad in and of itself, but not worth a first rounder that might pay off in 5 years when Walker, Sloane and co will be nearing retirement. This draft we should be aiming for classy ball users who can contribute to our upcoming campaigns IMO. Wouldn't mind Carlton taking him at all if it means Francis comes our way
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the thing to keep in mind is that he is a bottom age player, still growing into his body and has not had much of the exposure to the underage development programs. The upside is huge for him and as the article say if he was a few days younger, he would be spoken of as next year's No. 1 pick.

Just saw a phantom consensus draft list that had our selections pushed out to 13 and 17 by the academy bidding process, Francis (#9 GCS), Milera (#11 Melb) and McKay (#12 Carl) all gone by our first pick, Oliver (#14 Carl) and Balic (#16 Rich) gone by our second, and us taking Mathieson and Ah Chee, ignoring Burton (#18 StK), Tucker (#20 GCS) and Bonner (#22 Haw)

More of an exercise in mathematics than anything else

I tend to agree that we would pick H McKay over Francis and I would be OK with that.
If that happens, and it won't happen, there would be a very much deserved meltdown.

I don't mind McKay but he's no lock to be a star. Disposal's still messy and doesn't look to be ultra competitive. Has good traits but how many times have we seen the quick agile big guy fail in the past 10 years. Francis will dominate. Is top 3 talent and leadership material. It's a no brainer.

For those Adelaide bigfooty members in attendance, make sure the interstate recruiters get a frosty reception - such that they might think twice about picking some local SA talent.

I think it'd be perfectly reasonable for direct threats of violent retribution to be honest.

Yeah that was as putrid as it was pointless

You have to realise that players with 'plenty of upside' means they also potentially have plenty of downside. That's the nature of the situation. This kid could be anything, he also could be a total dud. Hasn't ever really dominated a game.

People talk about Burton being a risk. At least we know he's a great footballer.
