Aren't we getting a couple of small forwards next year in the Davy twins? Probably not a priority this year if that's the role those two will be filling.

We literally have no small forwards after 2023 that can play as one on the list

one davey can play elsewhere aswell apparently, higher up or half back aswell

I remember when we cleaned up the draft with Gumbleton, Jetta, Houli, Davey, Hislop, Reimers, Mal Michael - didn't turn out that well.

The lack of trading probably suggests the clubs are valuing these players higher than the offers they're getting, although I'm wondering if the list size reductions also have an effect (in that they'll only be taking 3 picks so they don't want to trade the last one back or into next year).

There is no point picking a guy like Hobbs to sit him in VFL for 2 years, the whole point of picking him is hes ready to go day 1 barring injury

And what were hopeful of is a year 2 close to a B.Smith, Kozzy, L.Jackson impact that helps us compete for a flag

He’s absolutely zero chance for round 1 - unless he’s played out of position.

Unless we have injuries, I can’t really see him playing early - there’s no spot for him

Literally could do nothing to contribute other than getting the ball on the lead. Very soft player. Terrible attitude to go with it.

I remember watching him trying to take mark of the day in the wet. Stuffed every attempt at it, and never worked to follow up or contribute in any other way. I thought he was much like a witches hat that could get blown up in the air with a a bit of breeze.
