Any advice on what to do/who to get?

Cash in a midfielder for Swallow and get one of Pavlich, Hall or Brown.
Then with the leftover cash you have the option upgrade another forward later.

Your backs will look a lot better once Chad is back, fairly good crop.
Your centers are cool, Judd can be inconsistent but can also get a huge score and really make your team do well when he does. Luke Ball will come good so hang on to him now that you've got him. I've got Deledio and Gram, neither are doing poorly enough to force me to trade them, nor are they doing well enough to solidify their position as permanent.
Your rucks are a weakness, I would hang on to Fraser and Charman and upgrade one or two others.
You also need a star in the forwards, Pavlich is OK, hang on to him, Tredrea should be about to come good. I would trade my worst performer and use the profit to upgrade my second worst performer. I really like to aim to include a Riewoldt / Hall / Brown if I could.

with only 5 trades each left...pretty much as you said.

You would be silly to use up all your trades now.

I would use up one on your second team to make use of that $100k to upgrade one of your defenders.

Then hang on for several weeks at least (as a safety net for injuries) before considering using up any more trades.

Hey nice score last week. Your really moving up in the rankings now, nice work. I crept into the top 10 this week, now 9th. Hoping to go up another 8 spots .

Anyway, was looking for some advice.

My centre crop is currently, A.Simpson, Jason Johnson, Deledio, Malceski, Symes and Harding. Assuming JJ gets back in the Essendon side this week, I still have the dilemma of having two injured players in Deledio and Malceski. Deledio apparently is out for about 2 weeks whilst Malceskis injury could keep him out for 4-5 weeks. I think ill certainly trade Malceski for Swallow and then move Symes into my starting lineup. That would leave me with like 150K to spend elsewhere. Im thinking of then trading Deledio to a GUN like Hayes.

The other option would be to upgrade Carrazzo to either Milburn or Swan.

The other option is to not use the second trade since after trading Malceski to Swallow ill only have 5 left. Id then have to start Swallow till Deledio comes back. I can then keep the cash in the bank till I need to use it.

What do u reckon?

Whats your points against? How unlucky r u?

Im currently ranked 9th in the freaking country, yet only ranked 6th in my dumbass league. How? Because every week the team that im matched up against pulls out a score well above their average, so ill get like the second top score in the league and lose because I faced the guy who pulled a score out their ass.

I won this week so im 3-3 in the league.

My points against is currently 1102, and thats in a crap league too.

OK Hayes is out of the equation, but there are a few other options like Licuria @ $376,900 or (as I did) you could opt for Luke Ball @ $336,800 who scored the same as Hayes last year and I believe is starting to come good now.

The other option would be to upgrade Carrazzo to either Milburn or Swan.

Milburn would be my choice here, he is a quality player. I still have reservations about Swan come the business end of the season.

Swallow is a good type, but might not get the game time to get great scores.
Should retain his spot for the short term anyway.
The way I see it is if you tolerate the Deledio inj / Swallow scores now it will give you more freedom later. But you will probably drop a few spots because of it.
My philosophy has always been to use the majority of my trades to build up my squad as early as possible to maximise the benefit of money earned by buying up big scorers and hang on to 4 trades to cover for injury.

I still have reservations about Swan come the business end of the season.

Why do you sday that? What evidence is there to say that Swan could drop off? A gut-feeling only? Of course he could, but all indications say otherwise.

He is 22 years old, so he is at an age that consistancy should be occuring more regularly, and he is also exceptionally fit; much more than previous seasons, so I don't think that is going to be a problem. Having a look at his averages over the last three seasons also show that his improvement this season is just something that has been a gradual, natural progression.

It's going to take a big effort to maintain his 25.6 disposals and 8.6 marks per match so far this season, but even if he drops down to last seasons averages of 16.9 and 4.6, it could still be enough to be an important member of a very successful side. He gave a lot of things up during the off season though, and this I believe is one of the main reasons for the improvement and also the reason that he can maintain it.

If he does drop off at all, I would expect it to be half way between what he is doing now and what he did last season. That would then lower his average for the rest of the season to 21 possessions and 7 marks, and that is still very good.

Hey KissStephanie don't take it so personally. This was an assessment of his ability to maintain his Dream Team scoring. The end of the season will see a lot more pressure than he's accustomed to. He has NEVER played finals footy and he will learn, but there also will be days where he wont perform to his usual standard making him less value at the price.

Considering Swan's price noone would take him over other more proven dream team players at this stage. I agree with StKildonan on this one, I just can't see Dane keeping up his form in terms of Dream Team. No, I can't justify it.

Anyway, I was mulling over my captain choice this week and obviously Riewoldt's name came up. His record against Melbourne is impecable. I realise this is a Saints board so you're kinda biased but do you reckon Riewoldt will continue his dominance over the Demons? Why is he so succesful against them? I'm just afraid that the Dees heirarchy are basically building their whole game plan around stopping him considering Nicks history against them.
