Was good. 6 inside 50s and 6 rebound 50s means he go the ball where it counts.
He is a bit outside and a bit soft in head on collisions but in in-close contests he can be very good.

Is soft, does not use the ball well at all, is a VFL at best.

Does not win the ball at all $lut$ kicks when ever he can, must get home and reads his stat sheet and count his possestions. Pathetic performer the last month.

He doesn't have the body to be an inside player yet. There is a use for outside players you know. The problem with our midfield is that our main mids Burns/Lica/O'Bree/Holland are basically the same sort of inside player. Rowe gets into good positions so well why shouldn't he get cheap kicks?
His kicking is improving and he is only in his 2nd year.
Had we won, you would be praising Rowe.

No i would not, he quiet possibly could become a good player but he is not at the moment and needs to learn how to play the game. Turns the ball over all the time, gets cheap kicks, makes poor decisions.

And who from Collingwood doesn't turn the ball over, get cheap kicks and make poor decisions besides Buckley?

He is learning how to play the game. He is a raw player you have to expect glaring mistkaes. He is so raw in every area of his game, like an unspoiled lump of clay. He could be anything and will at the very least become a solid player.
He might get cheap kicks. But he gets them in space. There is not a player on the ground who doesn't get cheap kicks. There are more cheap kicks in a game then there are hard earned kicks.

Your right about the cheap kicks and your right he is young, and until a point youth can be made as an excuse but enough is enough, there is a point in time where your either a player or not, I think hes not and had enough of him be a pu$$y on the wing.
He may come out and have a blinder but I think right now he needs to be dropped.

his got to go back to willy its time we try another young player he has struggled the last 3 weeks i wanted him back to willy last week i think we should bring in the shaws or something try some thing that will be useful next year

I don't care whether he gets dropped or not IMO. He does need some confidence. I am just against labelling a player so early in their career for just a few poor efforts. He is just making the mistakes a 2nd year player makes.
My changes would be:
IN: The Booch, H.Shaw
OUT: Rowe, Davis

Julian's kicking was horrible all night. Although his last 2 left foot kicks were gems. Just give him time to develop into the sort of player we want him to turn out as.

Why take out Davis? I thought he was one of the better players tonight.

NO WAY take davis out

i think
in
B.shaw J.fraser A.didak

Out
J.Rowe, B.Johnson, T.Cloke (maybe injury)

if cloke is right and fraser comes in i think maybe send hall back to williamstown 1's and not play him in the reserves like he has been for most of the year.

Davis has no future at the club an noone will take him in the draft so no use trying to pump up his trade value.
His ideal position is a midfielder since he can weave through packs and get some good clearences however he is simply not hard enough, consistant enough, fit enough just not good enough to be put there for an extended period. We can't afford to carry him.
Davis was ok I suppose but I'd rather play the likes of The Booch or the two lil' Shaws.

i like rowe and davis in the side, rowe is a good young player just needs to fix the kikcing which i am very confident he will cause hes got good technique. remmbeer licuria when he first came to the club he turned it over all the time. davis is good too i wouldne drop him but didak and davis in forward line owuld suck cause they both wait for the ball out of the packs too much davis would have to play onball and come off bench a bit

Rowe is just frustrating, because he does things like those two left foot kicks inside 50 to perfection which led to goals, while completely over kicking a 20 metre pass to Taz leading directly to an Essendon goal. He obviously has skills, just needs to iron out those errors.

Agree that davis' best posi is in the middle, looks pretty good when he's in there...Why the ******** isn't he played there more????? Fitness? I have never seen him looking that tired after a game.... Why not just give him a game there and tell him to go hard until he's stuffed... may only get a half out of him but recon its worth a shot

Everyone needs to get off this kids back. he is a Second year player and somebody in this thread said he is still only 18.

He cannot play inside yet his body is too underdeveloped. He has all the right tools to be a very very good wingman and can turn into a tall running player and can dunk a basketball ring ive read in a an article, he must have a like a 30 inch vertical which is very very good.

I agree he is sometimes soft but so are many of our other players. This kid has a fair bit of upside and potential. I think he should be not dropped but this week but rested because he needs to also get some confidence.

And about his kicking, that could be ironed out earily with practice.
