Must be his last hurrah surely. cant understand why they're giving him a game otherwise. Surely can't be based on form? maybe trying to increase his trade value?

As you say, Last possible chance. No form, but yet he seems to hold a bit of value with the victorian clubs hope we get something when tradr time comes around.

He usually seems to lift his game when he is in the main squad. Pity that he does seem to care at all when he is dropped and then goes and plays his whole year in the magoos.

Another wasted high draft pick. Damn that hurts!:thumbsd::(

I honestly think he fits the Sydney/St Kilda game style well.. If he is traded, he will make an arse of us because he will go for next to nothing.

He always seemed to play well when up forward. Not sure why he was never given the chance considering our woes up there with Murphy and Campbell this year.

This has a Zac Dawson smell about it. We laugh and think the guy is a chump then he'll go off and be in a top four side.

Good to see rewarding form once again

Another way of looking at it is that the club is protecting or trying to salvage an investment. I would back him in to play decent footy at AFL level and look ordinary at WAFL level.

So which knob on channel eagle was it that said Drum will never play again for freo
Barich or basil said at the time they were just jumping to conclusions and heres the proof.

Was always going to get a game at sometime, whether its to try an show other clubs hes still around and help trade value or if its his last chance to prove something an stay at freo and come back next year wth a new improved attitude.

Drummy to come in and play the last 4 games.

Kicking bags of 8, 6, 6, 3 and solving our CHF problem. :D

I bet he plays well and makes us look fools for not playing him all season.
He is one of those players that is a good player with good players around him and a dud with average players around him.

I bet he plays well and makes us look fools for not playing him all season.

He's been injured for most of the season. Almost everytime he's played a decent game he's got injured the next week.

Step 1. Play a decent game for Perth.
Step 2. Get named emergency for Fremantle the following week.
Step 3. Get injured playing for Perth.
Step 4. Rinse and reapeat.

He is one of those players that is a good player with good players around him and a dud with average players around him.

Not sure how that will help him impress on the weekend then. Unless he's secretly been traded to Geelong...

I think he will come in and be solid. I don't think he ever will be a #1 player or key position holder, but as a 2nd or 3rd option up forward he will deliver.

It wasn't his fault that he was picked at number 10! Sometimes you just need to be realistic with players...

Lets hope this is an indicatioin that Drum and FFC have sorted out their differences. I'd hate to see him go elsewhere and dominate, that happens way too often at our club.

:thumbsu: Agree.

He just looked so bloody promising ...love him to just come out and play a very solid game.

If Drum showed even a sliver of being an asset at the top level I'd keep him before Ryandrew Murphambell

The players that have forged succesful careers at other clubs have shown potential before leaving Freo though. Drum struggles at WAFL level.

He's very similar to Mundy but with less awareness, endurance and weaker skills.

Drum can still make it. Really just need to give him heaps of game time over the next four weeks. Sick of seeing talentless folks like Murph and Campbell get a shot at it, but never seeing an obvious talent like drum get a go!
