upgrade J.Bolton
upgrade Joseph -> Rich
and spend the rest of the money.

I had Rich in there, but I just wanted to see how far I could strip things back to fit Hodge back in comfortably, and Joseph ended up being a carryover from that. I'll probably end up switching back though.

I would spend the rest of the money, but I'm just not really sure what on. It's a huge amount left over, but I'm strongly considering having it left there for a big upgrade within the first couple of rounds, depending on how much money I make early on.

You definitely need more keepers. You will struggle to bring in alot of the guns with 12 upgrade targets in your wing

Well I was talking about those as keepers for the whole season. With the amount of trades that we are given, we all have to have at least 10 guys who stay with us the entire season, and those that I nominated would be who I'd want that to be in that squad.

I have had him in and out heaps the last couple of days. He just concerns me a little, went for a younger fresher slightly cheaper option in the end.

i noticed you've got McPhee too.
that's another guy that no one seems to buying (which i've got).
if he plays halfback he should go back to his normal self. i dare say we'll be seeing a fair bit of footy in the backline this year.

btw, with Gumbleton injured, Lucas is only a Matthew Lloyd injury away from reclaiming CHF

Midfield: J Selwood (C), Gibbs, Sewell, Kerr, Hasleby, Rich (Ziebell (E), Davenport)
Rucks: Cox, Hille (Currie, Pyke)
Forwards: Deledio (V), Brown, O'Keefe, J Riewoldt, Lucas, Higgins, Hentschel (Hogan (E), Ballantyne)

$56,800 in the bank.

Any issues with them? They should all play, yes? Annoying that the teams aren't out yet. Bloody Thursday night game FTL.

Jay Neagle has been a bit iffy with an ankle injury lately too (although he performed well in a practice match recently), so Lucas could be a decent early option if he stays healthy. That being said, it's mainly his price that is getting people in at this stage I'd think.

I know it is thin ice but I really couldn't see any value between hill and houlihan and I didn't want to stick $120 or so on the bench. I might yet, but I still can't see where I'd make the savings. I've only got a few quid spare.

McPhee was a relatively late addition to replace Newman who I had in my first draft in February and looked like a good pick but maybe wasn't value. As a back he's dt material so hopefully that'll come off.

I was happy with my team last night, but on review this morning have a couple of worries about the players in bold. Particularly worried about my forward line with Higgins, Skipworth and Hentshell. Any suggestions for downgrading one player to up my forwards?? I just can't seem to jig the numbers!! Also, I don't have ABC...is this a mistake?

Yep, i think option 2 aswell. But i'd use that cash to upgrade Houli or Adcock to maybe Goddard or someone around that mark.

i was planning on keeping that money and using it to upgrage to another premium forward in around 6 weeks time. the backs look stronger then the forwards. mm i looked at that too but i really feel for some reason that houli is up for a big year as for adcock thats a risk im gonna take.

Baz your teams look ok, i wouldnt pin your hops on Houli though, bit around that price range...
