The Suns, albeit a young team, have opted for a Co-Captain structure but we've also seen a very successful Sydney side use it to acknowledge their widely accepted leader but also promote a younger player like Jack.
This brings me to our side. I have no strong feelings towards Marc Murphy's captaincy - and maybe that's an issue in itself. Sure he might be a logical choice if you want a long term option but I really believe the player that evokes the most emotion out of players and fans is Kade Simpson.
I don't want to demote Murph because he's probably still our best player and he has grown into the role but with Co Captains we could also pave the way for Cripps/Docherty who seem hard to split in a few years time.
Interested to hear whether people think it is worth considering and if Carlton would be the type of club to do it.
