We've got ourselves a replacement for Guerra & no others of similar ilk that I can think of on our list. We are a team that prides ourselves on precision kicking coming out of the backline & you want to move him forward of centre? Who's going to kick it to him?

If Suckling comes back the way he was when he went out then he takes Mitchell's spot at HBF/CHB as the distributor by foot. We need Doc as a defender who can kick - exactly the same way as we currently play Goo.

Doc's hard at it but Hannebury is one of the toughest players in the comp. Has great courage and goes in just as hard as Selwood does but doesn't try and milk as many free kicks.[/quote]

Also disagree, he has been great off half back and I believe he is best suited for us down there. He showed he can pick targets out when kicking inside 50 but we don't have Suckling or Birchall atm and you want to move one of our best defenders (at rebounding and defending) to a position where players like Savage, Breust and most of our mids are doing a fine job. For team balance and for his own self belief and confidence, keeping him down back is the right option. He must play in the backline

I think that's underselling him. He's a quality player already, while the above is true, he doesn't deserve to be pigeonholed as anyone's replacement. He's got the tools to help the team well beyond that.
