I'm not fussed if we get Martin or not all talk and rumours. But we can get Martin out of contract and could walk (Which i don't think he would do), Steven is contracted and absolutely not one chance at all to be traded IMO. Dustin will remain with you guys personally is what i think anyway.

Lol it's not like Melbourne have an abundance of midfielders and just let him go through to you.

Lol that would be a nightmare if it in fact was a dream of mine.
My ideal dream is to keep Dustin as I think he's a star.
Not to say that Steven is not, I rate him extremely highly.

I just love the neck tatts more.

Yeah they probably would. But i still don't see him leaving the tigers.

Yep but just saying even IF this was true and Dustin wants to be traded to us (Will say again don't see it happening) that there is not a chance Jack Steven will be involved in the deal, easily our best midfielder at the moment and is going to be a pretty good player for us.

Yeah Steven is a gun.
Generally though, to get a gun you need to give up a gun (or a future gun)

Are you saying Melbourne would let him go or take him? They'd 100% take him.

Like the rumour with Conca to WC the Saints aren't giving up a top midfielder in a trade, kind of pointless for them. Pick 3 & 22 and we could chuck in a defender.

The gun won't be Jack Steven anyway and i'll continue to stand by this. Steven is pretty committed to the Saints highly doubt it would cross his mind to leave us in a trade, re-signed until 2015 will be like a Lenny Hayes to us IMO bleeds red, white and black.. Anyway will leave you all to discuss this amongst yourselves! :thumbsu:

We know that Steven isn't going anywhere.
We're just having a bit of fun speculating what would be a fair trade from the saints IF Dustin were to leave.

Which he is not.

and exactly we are dying for midfielders we wouldn't give up one of our up and comers with Hayes likely retire this year, Dal (30) and Joey (31) next season.
