Is anyone willing to write a match preview about this? Because I would really like to hear some. Maybe a preview of the key match-ups? I'll try to start it off.
After losing their first two games, both teams will be wanting to salvage some pride by winning the last game. On the otherhand, neither team will want injuries soming into rnd1 and are both likely to come into the match a bit 'soft'.
The eagles are bringing in Turnball, with an increase in ruck depth he will be wanting to prove his worth to the team, expect a big game from him. The youngsters and recruits will also be pressing for selection and so the game should be dominated by the lesser known players, rather than the stars.
The dual between Gardiner and Everitt looms as an interesting one, as does the one between the eagles new "rookie" wilson and between the Saints new full-back barry Hall. Two tough men up against each other, we might see the ground shake if they try to simultaneously hip-and-shoulder one another.
Sorry if i sound like a news reporter, but thats what i was aiming for
Hope some of you might add to this, whether the point of view is from the eagles perspective or the saints.
