Wasn't there caught the scores on 98.9 FM at 5PM. I do know that Tulla didn't have a bench in the last quarter but managed to hang on, Tulla's good accuracy and Saints poor one looked to be a deciding factor

SALVATION arrived for Roxburgh Park in the form of a first victory in 33 attempts just a week after the Magpies’ heart-breaking three-point loss to Jacana.
Roxburgh Park held out Moonee Valley at Ormond Park 16.12 (108) to 13.18 (96) to record a first win of the season, climb off the foot of Essendon District Football League B-grade and end a 32-game losing streak.

Game was called off after what started as a small blue, turning into a young Jacana bloke kicking a Hillside player in the head while on the ground, the Hillside boys obviously didn't like this and with only a few minutes remaining the game was called off.
Jacana really is struggling, but they're making it hard for people to feel sorry for them

EAST Keilor relinquished top spot in Essendon District Football League B-grade to Tullamarine with a 22-point defeat away at Westmeadows on Saturday.
The Cougars’ 14.9 (93) to 17.13 (115) loss at Willowbrook Reserve was just the second East Keilor defeat for the season but still enough for Tullamarine to claim top spot on percentage.

Why should people feel sorry for Jacana? They're just going through a rough patch, every team does. Hillside aren't the most perfect side going around. Hillside started the in all brawl by king hitting a Jacana player behind play. I'm also quite sure this isn't the first Hillside game to be called off this season either.
The EDFL has a bit to answer for too. You cant let teams get beat by 40 goals week in, week out and expect them not to get frustrated. They have incited this type of behaviour by the bottom teams. The upcoming division 3, or points system should have been introduced years ago.

Stupid comment. Northern had a heap out and expect a high standard from each other. Hardly fighting. Roxy have a couple of decent players though. Should be a chance of a c grade flag in 6-7 years.

I heard that a Jacana player was king hit behind play so why is it Jacana cope it as being the dirty side i'd say their players were sticking up for their team mate i wasn't their to be able to say exactley what had happened though just going by what i have been told and if a Jacana player did kick a Hillside player i don't condone that at all
I also agree EDFL are partly to blame what have they done for Jacana ?
Nothing i believe bout time they helped some of these struggling sides out instead of trying to get rid of them

No beers for me that day muppet. Not even sure they would sell them up there? The cold chips and pies put me off trying. Well done to Dawson for marking so many, what was the end result? Fletch. You are showing yourself to be the muppet and a goose here bloke. melbsaints never once slagged off ure club here. All he said was they were arguing amongst themselves. Well big deal if they were! For you to have a personal crack at their club, shows you to be very unprofessional, considering it is quite well known who you are. And after that you are calling your joint decent! Seriously you need to pull your head in pal and concentrate more on improving the perception of your own joint first before you start throwing stones at others. And by the way I was there on Saturday and enjoyed a nice hot pie and chips. Did you maybe stop and think they saved the cold ones for you! Good luck for the remainder of the year.

Back in the day pretty sure old north coburg and fawkner park were the "easybeats" of there leagues and divisions. Every club has a rough patch mate.

That we were, I remember a season where the only side we beat was Maribrynong Park How times have changed
