No 18's certainly hurts! not sure the demographic is the issue tbh. Plenty of clubs in close proximity who aren't struggling. From what you hear on the grape vine Ross worked very hard at recruiting but lacked in footy knowledge during games.

14-2 in Div 1 the yr they won the flag. Good Div 1 coach, unfortunately he's just not up to a Prem level of coaching.

WRFL clubs advised not too long ago officially (came from a trustworthy source).
I think they are seeking guidance from the clubs on whether to pursue an appeal.
I reckon that they should let them go and save the extra hassles of the issues DP cause, that can be the EDFL's problem.

EDFL clubs will revolt on board decision, board will be overthrown and Kyte given the arse. clubs will stay in WRFL.
EDFL board and CEO will not and cannot do this without clubs. period.
These clubs should only come in if and when clubs decide, and going form Div 1 WRFL should go to Premier, but up to clubs on where they fit in, if at all
Yet again EDFL Fu$% everything up, who do they think they are?? they represent the clubs, not run the clubs! they just signed there own resignation letters!

The way I read it Aucklander is that the wrfl clubs being st Albans and Deer park " application " to enter edfl has been accepted without formal approval of entry into the edfl as yet

WRFL chief executive Matthew Duck said the league is disappointed that the applications have been made from two valued clubs, but equally understand this is the community football landscape they operate in.

“Under the relevant AFL Victoria rules, the league has a period of ten business days to determine whether it will formally object to either-both applications, and will consider its position over this time.”
