Not much of info via the team app wrap up of this div. can anyone enlighten the BF public on the happenings of the week end?
Going by the scores Burnside rallied in the third and must have sent a scare through the lions with memories coming back from earlier in the season. Well done lions on putting the game beyond doubt and must be now gaining confidence for the back half of the season. Still a threat.
Clearly a windy contest for Haddy and Roxy. Score board may have flattered Haddy in the end but I don’t know if Roxy’s misses were pressured or unforced errors. Going along nicely now Roxy and think Haddy will cause an upset by the end of the season.
What’s going on at ES? I’m told that their players didn’t even go back in their own rooms after the game and the president didn’t even get up and speak. If that’s the case then pretty ordinary considering the indigenous game build up and pre game ceremony. Hopefully someone will ad some light and finally MV. Looks like they’re starting to get players back. Can they be a threat from here on in?

Wasn’t even that windy at Roxy, haddy really pushed the Maggie’s even winning at half time.
Roxy did miss a few shots on goal and nearly payed for it.

Who played well for both sides?

I was out at Districts V Burnside
Matty V was real good his a bit above this division and #35 Blackley is a gun great hands and beats his opponent in majority of contests
Also Covelli for Burnside does his very best, he would be good in a better side or as burnside midfield gets better

Cappuano and the coach Farrelly played well, Cappa could of easily had more goals.
For haddy the ruckman and mids were good, young Omar taleb best on for haddy my opinion.

MV coach signed for next season as was a 2 year appointment. Sure the Roxy coach isn’t going anywhere.. Even Haddy will be staying with the current coach..Not sure about the Burnside situation?

Yes, he will take control immediately, however has no garuntee of retaining the job for 2019. It was made clear the caretaker had to reapply at the end of the year regardless of how they finish the year.

This actually cost them better candidates for the role which is even further bewildering given their cross town associate in the Sunbury Kangaroos processing a vote for an application to join the competition.
