From Hearld Sun
Daniel Harris’ side was without any VFL listed players, featured 14 players under the age of 22, 10 players who had played less than 10 senior games, two 17-year-olds in Jack Sheedy and Luke Pelosi alongside debutant Denzil Whelan.
Interesting to see 2 of the names you mentioned have played less than 1/3 of their careers at pacco, plus a lot of other 3 pointers in the team sheet on Saturday. I thought it was only Keilor that poached juniors turbo? Disgraceful isn’t it? Or do you feel differently about juniors moving clubs when they move to pacco?

Can’t be bothered we you tbh. Pretty sure at least Pacco wait till the kids are 15-16 not 10-11-12-13-14

I do know there was a cohort of kids at Parade that played school footy, wanted to play locally together, Kakko included. Followed one of their mates N.Scott to pacco. Otherwise the other choice was North Saints. They still are all playing together, not Kakko obviously.

So 15-16 all good to poach ? But younger no good ? Right

You know how it is, gents - Keilor are ruining the fabric of footy, whilst Pacco doing similar is a benevolent gesture, to be admired.
Despite the puff piece, Pacco still played at near maximum points.. funny that.

Yeah hence my point that Pacco didn’t scout and go after them at early ages hence why they might be 2-3 points. FFS a lot of those kid at Pacco came from clubs that couldn’t field teams in certain age groups around the area so they had to go somewhere. Wake up!!

Was Bewick sacked or did he leave by choice?Jets have done well for a long period of time but the financial and participation squeeze is on.Money was once a factor in recruiting but now a few others have upped the spend.Although facilities and surface are now very good its a shocking wind tunnel with little appeal to watch footy there. Will need a coach with a solid contact list.

I can’t remember any head coach at Greenvale being sacked so l would say he has left by choice

Would not exactly say facilities are good. They have a big scoreboard, a grandstand and that's it. The lower level looks like it's from the 50s and should have been reno'd before the ridiculous top level was added. The change rooms last i saw has holes in walls, toilets that didn't work and were dark and musty. Surface if ok but the rest of the place looks like a tip

So... overlook the facilities that they alone have & focus on things a handyman could fix in an hour or so. Got it.
That they still have better facilities than most clubs in this comp, probably requires your expert analysis.

You tell me what's so good about the facilities outside of the grandstand and scoreboard (which isn't really that good if we are being honest, just big!)

The many shipping containers littered around the place and the mud hole parking around the ground? The bottom level of the social rooms that haven't been touched in 20 years? The canteen which looks like it's ready to implode at any time, let alone the poor food offering in there. I'd put EK, DP, Marby, KFC, DS and abers above GV
