Pick 1: Tom Scully- melbourne
the young midfeilder has done all the right things and deserves to be first pick, should make an impact straight away, looks to have the goods.

Pick 2: Jack Trengove- melbourne
good player who reminds me of jimmie hird , can kick goals out of the middle and tears a game apart, melbourne have a couple of gems here.

Pick 3: Dustin Martin- richmond
one of my favourites in the draft, is good on either foot and looks like the next lenny hayes, richmond's middle looks very impressive all of a sudden.

Pick 4: Anthony Morabito- fremantle
very versitile player who can play anywhere, will add to an improving young list at freo, this kids a gem and deserves to be picked even higher.

Pick 5: Ben Cunnington- nth melbourne
looks certain to go to the roos, either one , will become a great, hard player who can kick goals through the middle which the roos really need.

Pick 6: Gary Rohan- sydney
the speedy player that sydney have been looking for, will excite next year and looks like the next big thing.

Pick 7: Lewis Jetta- west coast
jetta looks a certainty with this pick, would benefit from butcher more however.

Pick 8: John Butcher- port adelaide
looked a certain top 3 pick, too talented to pass up for port.

Pick 9: Kane Lucas- port adelaide
next best midfeilder, port will look to next best player with pick 16, lucas is a gun and shouldn’t go past port.

Pick 10: Jake Melksham- essendon
will suit the bombers, would like tapscott but this kid will be something special.

Pick 11: Aaron Black- melbourne
next best tall for melbourne, will look at either luke ball or vardy with there next pick.

Pick 12: Daniel Talia- carlton
best available tall for carlton who will look for a replacement for the fev.

Pick 13: Brad Sheppard- adelaide
adelaide will take this kid because he is a dead set gun who want disappoint, a fantastic runner who takes the game on.

Pick 14: Jake Carlisle- sydney
sydney will get best available tall here, can play at both ends and will be a safe pick.

Pick 15: Jasper Mcmillan- Pittard- bulldogs
late bolter, attacks the footy hard and runs all day, a value pick for the dogs.

Pick 16: Luke Tapscott- port adelaide
port will be very lucky to get him here, would love him at essendon but im not sure essendon would want him, port would love this hard at it local boy.

Pick 17: Nathan Vardy- geelong
a talented tall who will be an excellent replacement for ottens, can play forward and ruck and is easily the best ruck in the draft.

i originally had him there but it wasnt till i got to collingwoods pick, i realised i hadnt put griffiths down because i had panos going to collingwood, a mistake on my part.

I hope Ess dont pick Melksham... would rather Lucas or Tapscott any day!! I hope the Dons get Christensen as well... his name is popping up a lot as far as Ess is concerned!

Have you checked out Melksham's Grand final performance? Impressive. Exactly the type of player we need IMO. Id prefer Lucas and maybe Tapscott also but wouldnt be too disappointed with Melksham if Lucas was gone. He needs some work on consistency in his game and kicking by all reports

Have you checked out Melksham's Grand final performance? Impressive. Exactly the type of player we need IMO. Id prefer Lucas and maybe Tapscott also but wouldnt be too disappointed with Melksham if Lucas was gone. He needs some work on consistency in his game and kicking by all reports

Yes he did play a good game but its only 1 good game.I think people put him high in the draft becasue of the 1 good game when i think players like moore should be ahead of him the draft but thats just me.

I just think his a tad over rated but in saying that i think he should go to ports pick 16

Pick 18:Matthew Panos- melborne
severly under-rated on these boards, will kick a bag for melbourne in the near future.

Pick 19:Benjamin Griffiths- richmond
with richo gone they need another forward, here comes GRIFFO.

Pick 20:Troy Taylor- fremantle
freo are interested in this livewire who could be fremantle's version of leon davis.

Pick 21:Koby Stevens- north melbourne
a big slider, may go to melbourne at pick 18 but north will love this pick.

Pick 22:Andrew Moore- West Coast
another big slider, eagles will pounce at this kid who can play any role you want him to play.

Pick 23:Ryan Bastinac- West Coast
another slider, west coast look like they have the picks to die for this year, a great mid, a utility and a silky mid that caps of a great draft.

Pick 24:Callum Bartlett- essendon
thought about christensen but i rate bartlett just a little higher, this kid is a rocket who wins his own ball, will dominate next year if he plays senior football.

Pick 25:Jack Fitzpatrick- north melbourne
two midfeilders with their first 2 picks, time for a tall ruckman who can play forward, a steal for the kangas.

Pick 26:Luke Ball- essendon
would rather christensen but luke ball looks bound for windy hill, a tough nut who will give it all in the middle.

Pick 27:Mitch Duncan- brisbane
another slider who can play anywhere but looks like a midfeilder, has a good look about him and would hope he is availble for essendon at pick 33.

Pick 28:Allen Christensen- geelong
big slider who falls because of luke ball and mcmillan -pittard, geelong will go best availble, was picked for pick 13 by the panel in tac future stars so he is a steal for the cats.

Pick 29:Travis Colyer- adelaide
a steal for the crows, colyer could go from pick 18-30 and he is a small gun who is very quick.

Pick 30:Josh Thomas- collingwood
they wanted him, their gettin him, a highly rated mid that will be snapped up here if still available.

Pick 31:Nat Fyfe- bulldogs
creative small forward who could go anywhere in the draft, doggies will want this kid to fire in a few years, is a little light so he wont make an impact straight away.

Pick 32:Jesse Crichton- st kilda
will go best available, crichton is a mid who can play inside and out, the tassie boy can certainly play.

Pick 33:Jordan Gysberts- essendon
a massive slider, i rate him in the top 20 in this draft, he is a silky player who would give essendon what they lack, good ball use

Bartlett is not Selwood, he is a good to above good player. Selwood is elite. Selwood was going at no1 in his draft before his injury, Bartlett was never rated the no1 pick of this draft. There is a difference. I would not mind him, but 24 not 10.

Bartlett is not Selwood, he is a good to above good player. Selwood is elite. Selwood was going at no1 in his draft before his injury, Bartlett was never rated the no1 pick of this draft. There is a difference. I would not mind him, but 24 not 10.

i never said he was selwood, i said his situation is similar, im just saying what we should do, not what will definently happen, at least my draft isnt the same as everyone elses, i tried to make it a little different

first selwood had a knee injury not a shoulder, chris judd had a shoulder injury that had him drop to number 3....

and why would essendon reach out for someone at 10 when they could possibly secure him with 2nd round pick? it doesn't make sense..

Lucas has upside too and is expected to around 10 i thimk thats more of a safe bet then bartlett...

they are more like half-forward, lynch is better up the ground, west coast wont get butcher but i think west coast should get him.

Agreed. Will be either Lucas or Jetta or a slider from the more fancied picks but even if they don't go Jetta or Lucas I don't see Butcher on there radar.
It's interesting how most phantom drafts have Jetta at #7 or very late round 1 and beyond. Most of us think he will slide out of first round drafts should WC not take him.
