Richard Ings is such a hack. Every time I hear from him I am amazed at the extent to which he is prepared to continue to fuel this issue on the basis of very, very little. He continues to interpret information he is provided with in the most unreasonably negative way.

It is clear that the "little bit outside the code" comment is being used by Dank to say that he wasn't giving anyone steroids, HGH or other illegal products. Ings knows very well that there are degrees of effectiveness as far as the performance enhancing aspect of a substance is concerned so there are a number of way he could have interpreted the comment that didn't require him to channel Caroline Wilson.

I have to say though it is unbelievably stupid of anyone on our coaching staff to be taking substances banned by WADA while at the club (if that is what Dank is saying happened). It is ridiculous to provide ASADA with reason to bring unwanted attention to our club.

I couldn't understand why Danks made this admission - It adds fuel to the fire.

McVeigh was giving his version of events and Ox intervened and asked ' Why is your version different to Reimers ' - Then McVeigh responded - McVeigh probably went a bit hard and was pointing out that Reimer's was so unprofessional his version of events couldn't be trusted.

It's not like McVeigh started the interview potting Reimers.

As for the rest of it. Do you really give a **** what those people say and more importantly do you really think what these people believe, in light of a complete exoneration, will tarnish the club irreversibly forever?

To a degree, the success and viability of the footy club depends on its perception in the wider world - e.g. for sponsorships, attracting new members, attracting free agent players, etc.

It's sad but inevitably some will always see this as a black mark against the bombers, regardless of how it pans out. Hopefully that's only a small proportion - who we don't want having anything to do with the bombers anyway - and the rest will actually treat the issue on its merits.

Exactly right, except I think only the minority will treat the issue on its merits. To many have based their view on what the media has told them and think if we are guilty no matter what.

Admire the passion, but I honestly believe Caro and Barrett in particular are beyond redemption. They are both basically faux moralistic, real life trolls who will just denounce you as being hurt by home truths, or something similar. Don't even give them the satisfaction of the attention, the attention just massages their already huge egos.

Honestly, if I held hope of being able to hold anything better than a patronising conversation with any of them, it'd be The Pint.
