I do not know what you are talking or writing about.I don’t see anyone in our squad wallowing let alone Vlaustin
Trading for draft capital is important but not at the cost of the fabric of the club. We’ve lost enough heart and soul players last year (Baker) and without Vlaustin our backline falls apart — 100 point hidings on a regular basis. We don’t want to become Norf
performance wise our efforts have wallowed from the top in 2020 to the bottom in 2024. our ladder position is a independentt assessment of our wallowing versus the opposition is it not??? are you in denial???
now heart and soul adjectives are BS tags for woke addicts. who says one person is more heart and soul than another??? some need to take both hands off it!!!
draft capital is the heart and soul of the club. Dusty won us premierships, he was pick 2 or 3. Are you saying Dusty was not heart and soul? Cotch was pick 2. Cotch was captain but was he not heart and soul???
if our backline falls apart without Vlastuin what are you saying about our backline?? its rubbish??
if who we draft are rubbish why are we going to the draft in the first place??
Lids was pick 1. If Lids did not leave would we have won in 2017??? Should Lids have got a medal in 2017 for leaving?? I still regard Lids as a RFC player, sorry. Some might think Lids was not heart and soul, I do not know. But he left and our team played better in 2017 so there was a effect and we won in 2017 so in some way he made a contribution, no one can deny that
when Lalor and Smillie and others where drafted high some of the rationale and argument behind their high draft selections and not trading down was leadership was it not?? are you saying Smillie and Lalor will not be heart and soul as high draft picks? Are you saying our draft 2024 in take and those we draft this year in 2025 will have no heart and soul???
he is another thing, next year most of the key part of our team for our future premierships(if we are lucky) will be twenty and younger. If Vlastuin is very high heart and soul, he is over thirty, how does that work with the youngsters that are on the critical path to our next premierships??
I cannot speak for Vlastuin, but I know of others in other clubs that find it harder to relate naturally with the younger ones simply because they are older with different interests like having kids etc.. versus the younger ones still exploring life and not coming through at the same time, If Vlastuin is older and high on heart and soul, is he being supported on how to rub off heart and soul to the youngsters when he has other interest is separate to the youngsters being younger or do others in the club offer more to the youngsters because they simply are younger and can relate to them more??
