The Everton player in the full leg tights looks pretty funny on the wide cam.

And Everton might have just ended the streak.
Feel sorry for Beto, he did everything right and went for a bullet header down low, just Henderson getting in the way somehow.

To be fair last seasons "Ange in" crowd were supporters of other clubs.
Not really. It was most yids and a good portion of neutrals under the patriotism banner.

Rodri off with a hammy. It felt like he came back a bit quick from his ACL recovery, and as we have seen in the AFL you frequently see players after major injuries come back and suffer from soft tissue injuries.

Meanwhile Robot Goal Machine does what he does and has City 1-0 up.
Last game everyone was screaming for him to get taken off as he looked close to breaking down.

He did come off, but theres no way he should have played today. 1 game a week max, and if the game isn't tight sub him off after an hour. Get some more minutes into Nico, and ease Rodri back into regular football.

Palace need to quickly come to grips with the Thursday night / Sunday European schedule because it was obvious to me that they faded badly in the last 2o minutes.

Were on top in the first half looked sharp and opened up Everton several times, the fact Everton made 2 subs at HT suggests Moyes knew he needed to change things. Mateta and Sarr both had big chances early 2nd to wrap it up but they didn't and we paid the price.

We tired badly, usually outstanding Lacroix made a tired and clumsy challenge in the box, Richards made a mistake allowing Alcarez through, Munoz was cramping and from there I thought we'd get beaten.

Glasner will have to start rotating the squad and subbing more rather than flogging the starting 11 as he tends to be do.

1st loss in 6 months, disappointing as I thought we shouldn't have got beaten.

Some of the Palace players definitely tired towards the end but they should have been 3 or 4 up after 70 minutes. Just one of those days when the chances weren't taken.

I think they will be ok with the European Thursday night/Sunday PL schedule as long as the players stay fit. If they start picking up injuries then they will suffer. Palace should prioritise the PL. They could probably get through the Conference league stage with squad players.
