Is it worth creating a new thread where all people's up to date teams are in the one place, saves everyone from having to hunt around multiple pages finding each others teams ?

Why would you be 'happy enough' with Hogan after reading the feedback? This game is decided by the votes of your competitors, your competitors think it's a poor choice, therefore it's a poor choice.

how so have I disadvantaged myself? Picking a spine capable of production rather than selecting outstanding run of the mill midfielders?

Thought it would be obvious, you've used an earlier pick on a kid who's yet to play a game when you probably could have picked him several rounds later, should be clear that the quality of the of the draft will invariably drop round by round, so your next few picks will be a of a lesser quality than they should be.
As for 'picking a spine capable of production', well that's nice enough to say, but in reality Hogan is a KPP who hasn't played a single match, so I really can't say that I'd back him to produce much of anything.
Also 'outstanding run of the mill midfielders' - Doesn't make sense.

But Quinn, Jetta and Reimers all looked like guns at VFL level at some point. I've seen him play to.

I still wouldn't have taken him until much later.

Boyd has show snippets - His first year at NEAFL pales into comparison with Hogan's first year at VFL level. And Hogan was a year younger.
