Just looking at the teams posted in the first page (Ashton Agar and BrewSmackerVeiny would be great if you could include your picks and a team in your first post like a rest of us buddy?)

fodzilla probably has the best KPF duo (J.Riewoldt and T.Cloke) whilst BomberTime also has a seriously good KPF duo (J.Kennedy & Sam Reid).

Sam Reid is extremely average.

If the game was factoring in how players were going to perform in 2015 then I'm sure less people would be questioning it. But we're largely going off exposed form. Otherwise players like O'Meara and Wines would have gone much earlier IMO.

He is still a premiership player and one of the best 'young' (he is only 22 FFS) KPP's in the competition.

Alipate Carlile was arguably a top 5 KPD this season, and Henderson is definitely a #1 KPF

I'll give you Alipate, but he is not better than *Hurley, Scott Thompson, Cale Hooker, Alex Rance nor Eric Macenzie

Look at Port's defensive statistics when he was playing and when he wasn't. He was incredibly important for Port and arguably their most important player.

Rance was an All Australian and Thompson was a reigning All Australian.

Rance was AA because of a media hard-on over him. He wasn't better than Carlile, who was a massive reason why Port were the 3rd best defensive team in 2014.

Fair enough, I'd still prefer players who have performed at AFL level. If voting was done at the end of 2015 then the teams would be a lot different.

Might have had something to do with Trengove not playing as well. He didn't play in any of the games in which Carlile missed. Of course the stats are going to be different, it would be for any team who has their two KPD out.

What? I saw heaps of squabbles on here, twitter, facebook. The reason that Rance was in the AA squad ahead of Carlile and the reason he was in the side was purely because the media had a hard-on for Rance.

Team defence was why Carlisle looked good. Rance was well and truly in the better defenders in the comp. We can argue all night on this but the All Australian team was (as a general consensus) well recieved by the majority.
