So whats the difference between having that knowledge of wht other posters think and not then? because as Jack Package found out, your picks can go just as easily anyways. Forces drafters to thin outside the box a bit and not just play poker with everyone.

Er, it's the difference between having that knowledge of what other posters think and not. Just because JP got unlucky doesn't mean everyone has. I've nabbed a number of players I consider serious sliders that likely would have gone much earlier had people been namedropping the whole time. Meanwhile, a number of players have been taken far too early, and could well still be in the pool had everyone been freely discussing the value of, say, a zero-game key forward.

All im going to say is that if you asked everyone whether they like the idea of discussin undrafted players or not, I think you will find a number of drafters would prefer to discuss them.

I understand why you dont allow. Jus think it would gain more traffic and interest should the discussion of undrafted players be allowed.

Yeah I was going to take him much earlier on, but thought I would wait it out. Happy he lasted that long. I had about 4 players I really wanted to pick. Mitchell & Shiels were the two I thought I would go first, so got them this time around. Have a feeling my next two will still be there.

Case in point. Tom Mitchell is sliding, people are biding their time. Pick #255 mentions him, pick #266 confirms that he will take him if available, pick #256 jumps. Had that exchange not occurred, who knows, Eth may have gotten his man or Mercuri may have cut his lunch regardless.
