I'm defending one of Knights or the list.
It is indisputable that one of them must be doing OK, given the regularity with which we beat good teams. Sure, we're inconsistent, but there is indisputably something positive at the EFC.
Whether it's the coach or the list, I'll leave you to decide.
IMO, and IMO only, the list is poor, ergo it's the coach that's doing something right.
But according to Knights, when he took over, he was extremely happy with the list. He then had 3 years to build on it.
So if it's the list that's terrible, for a good coach, he's a horrible judge of football talent. Stanton 3 years ago: "an elite midfielder" case in point.
Great that you want to support the coach. Based on all the factors put together, it certainly doesn't appear that he's doing a good job.
Would have thought Lloyd has a fairly decent grasp on footy.
