Lovett and Lovett-Murray are cert's to stay
Wilson is a very good chance as well.

Pete Summers is gone, worst player to be on an Essendon list in a long time.
The other two are a toss up.

why do you say that about summers?
what do other people think?
agree that wilson and the lovetts should stay

Summers was another "victim" of Banfield's coaching.

Only got limited game time when selected.

It is believed he was selected in part due to his mateship of fellow Northern Knights boys Stanton and Dyson.

Pete Summers was a victim of not being a very good footballer.

22 doesn't go into 18.

Wilson would fit in very nicely on the HBF allowing Rama to play on the wing. Lovett would be the quick midfielder (in bursts) and crumbing forward we have lacked. NLM not overly impressed with his second half of the season and I don't think any of the other rookies will cut. Perhaps if James Davies got some guts and courage he'd be alright.

Davies last 4 weeks were pretty good.
He lifted his tempo and aggression and was more commited with his second efforts. Was also used in a tagging role to good effect. If his first two seasons were anything like his last 4 games he would have played 20 games of senior footy.

Could be too little too late though.

i strongly doubt whether chris goullet will get rookied by essendon this year
his best chance would have been last year when he decent year for calder but was overlooked because he is fairly slow and one dimensional.
although he may have had a good year for st bernards, this does not mean he has worked on these key weaknesses.
playing amateurs is very different to playing vfl as a young player.
there are very few players to even play a game in the vfl in their first season out of the under 18s.
to get a game you have to be a pretty good player.

and by the way, summers was an oakleigh chargers boy he did not know stants and dyson.
had limited game time did summers.
did he have a problem with banfield?

With Bendigo set to have VFL Reserves line-up in the not to distant future, it is quite conceivable that a lot of players who have fallen through the cracks it would appear might come up, hence that will be from where the likes of Goullet, Josh Madden and James Ezard will get a crack from.

Getting them to train in Bendigo will be the only downfall. Coburg have a history of attracting ex-Cannons players.

Correct, via Northern Bullants. Despite the Bullants and the Knights sharing a ground not sure what connection he has with Dyson and Stanton

He was just no good. Simple as that.
He was good at high school, dominated heaps of game buthe just isnt upto VFL and AFL level
