I like them a lot, because they are pure entertainment, i get a good laugh when talking to them about their future.

I still remember all their claims from the past 5 years.

Ryder will be the next Polly Farmer

Monfires has brownlow written all over him, will be twice the player of Didak

Walsh will be better than Judd

Watson is the best extractor in the AFL

Winder will be an elite midfielder

Laycock will be the next Josh Fraser

Kepler Bradley will be an A Grade CHB

Courtney Johns will be better than Cloke and will be the best chf in the comp

Stanton is Buckley like

there is so many more, please feel free to add your own, i have heard some classics

Now we can look forward to Remiers being talked up.

I must admit though, i love the way they are playing footy at the moment and hope they play finals this year, will be interesting how they go next year once sides start to pay them more respect.

I particularly remember the lovely lady who informed me that Hawthorn supporters were jealous of Matthew Lloyd because we had never had a decent full forward. Her husband did explain to her that Jason Dunstall and Peter Hudson had played for Hawthorn

Essendon supporters are an amusing bunch. Given their history they just sort of expect everything to go their way. Eg. next year they will expect to make finals, but honestly I see them going backwards. At the moment they are on a hot streak where they have actually beaten noone..Freo by 4, Carlton who they match up well on, Brisbane - similar level, Melbourne by 16pts, Collingwood - good win but the Pies are hardly flying...be interesting to see how they go against St Kilda.

It's quite laughable how BigFooty works in regard to Essendon.

When we're playing badly, there's every attempt to overly exaggerate it.

When we're playing well, there's every attempt to detract from it.

In regard to this particular attempt to downplay us, facts are that you can find plenty of supporters from any side that are willing to overrate their players and their side in general.

Essendon supporters are not alone in creating hype for a player who doesn't quite live up to it..

Sounds very similar to a collingwood tale or two that i've heard

- Rusling will lead up and kick 50+ goals a season
- Cameron wood will solve our ruck problem
- Dale Thomas will win a brownlow
- Pendlebury is better than selwood

hahaha this is hilarious, ive never really heard any essendon supporters say those things, who is walsh btw? never heard of anyone called walsh playing for essendon, and why would we say laycock is the next josh fraser, fraser isnt even good he was picked way ahead of hille in the same draft and is nowhere near the standard of hille

if he was ever going to make it it would be as a FF, no-one would have claimed him as a CHF
