No dramas, if that is the case then that is why I'd lean towards him over Steele, but as I said whoever they choose on draft day I'd be very happy with. If we are choosing between Hartlett and Steel we can't really lose. At worse they will be an above average player for the Essendon FC.

that's a fairly stupid thing to say, as promising as they have been as a junior there is NO guarantee that they will be even be able to cement a spot in an AFL team let alone be above average.

However i would love either one of Sidebottom, Hartlett or Yarran at Essendon.

Just a question as to why we need yarran. We have to good small forwards already. Jetta and davey are currently doing that job well. i could understand wanting him if we were someone with only one decent small forward but we have 2 young pretty good ones comming through. A genuine midfeilder or kpd is what we really lack atm. Hense why i tend to favour the hartlett, sidebottm hurley senario at the moment (probs with most people). It would be great for rich to slide to make it easier for us:D. i know yarran is supposidly a gun player however its been mentioned that he isnt as good when he goes into the midfeild. I wouldnt be upset if we got him due to him already playing well in the Wafl (with men) and highly tallented. however i think that he isnt too far if even ahead of players like hartlett, sidebottom and co in the tallent department. Open to discussion on why he is worth drafting over them.

Who mentioned that ?
Anyway people take the positions that these kids play in the champs way too seriously. Did anyone even notice that Yarran also played some half back flank during the series ? There are plenty of small forward or defenders from champ series who have ended up playing midfield in the AFL. It is not like the position is foriegn to Yarran given he has played a lot of school footy in the midfield.

Zac Ledin = Freak.
Very strong over head
been injured since last year but made a promising comeback late this year
as commited as they come

Gee i would be handy if you knew something about the subject at hand :D

Last year I was slammed for saying that Masten or Morton sounded like the player we needed after reading your guide and from media outlets, the general concensus was palmer, we end up both players go before our pick and we take Myers which everyone says was great which is now known as bullshit given Myers and Palmers first years. I live in Tassie where little is known about any draftees e
