I must admit the events of the past few months have concerned me. Why you may ask? Because Essendon is that dude we know who is just not quite as good as us. Almost, but not quite. When things aren't going so well, where do we look? Essendon. We need to win a final, where do we look? Essendon. Juddy, Eddie, Waite out of form, where do we look? Essendon. Carlton needs Essendon to feel good about ourselves. Whilst Collingwood has always been owned by us, Essendon has been , by and large competitive ( to an inferior extent). If there wasn't a 93' there could be no 99'. Thankyou Essendon, thankyou, without you we just be lonely atop the mountain.
