Dave Whelan saying he's rejected our bid of 10m bid for James McCarthy, does this mean Felli's going?
got a feeling Felli is locked into going. I just hope we reinvest.

Martinez will be keen to reinvest, if he goes no doubt. I just hope he's got enough time to effectively spend the money although I honestly do belive that Martinez will have his targets lined up if Felli does go.

The Daily Mail reporting we've rejected a 3.5m bid from West Brom for Anichebe.

As sad as it is....... Anichebe at present could be our best striker option.

I did like what I seen from Kone on the weekend, we can't be to quick to jump on Kone's back, he's just joined the club, was doing Ramadan for most of the preseason and had just had a child so we can't be to quick to judge him. Give him at least a solid month of playing regularly before we do judge him. I do think Vic is better than Jelavic though, Anichebe will never be a world class player but you always know what you're going to get with him and will always be a handful for the oppositions centre halves.

What do people think of Thomas Ince, we've been linked with him all window now and the rumour is still sticking around, would you guys want us to sign him?

Demba Ba would be available on loan so we could sign him regardless of Felliani going, he was close to signing before he went to Newcastle from all reports and is a proven Premier League striker, would be a very good signing although I haven't heard with us linked with him once which is a real shame, lets just hope Martinez is interested.

Other that Ince and Moses (Who we won't sign anyways) I haven't really heard us linked with any other forwards, if Felli does go for 23-25m and we sign McCarthy for around 12m that would leave at least 10m for us to spend on a striker, although I really don't know what good strikers there is out there who we could sign.

Adebayor wants 100k plus a week still so that won't be an option.
Man City will still need to subsidise a lot of Barry's wages as well.

According to some sources this morning Tottenham have a deal for Ince.

They have as many midfielders as the Australian population, can't see that as true....

There are reports McCarthy has been granted permission by Ireland to remain in England until the deadline has passed.

To many rumors to keep up with, honestly don't know what to believe anymore.

The latest is Fella to United for £24m.

The Bruno Martins Indi rumor seems to be getting stronger, I don't know why because we don't have many and have plenty of CB's. I did some reseach on him because i didn't really know much about him and gee he looks a great player, if we had money and were after a CB he would make the perfect signing.

Anyone else attempting an all nighter?

Fellaini is definitely off, just a matter of time until that one is official. Likewise McCarthy will definitely end up here, and I'd say Barry is pretty much a lock as well.

I reckon Martins Indi was a back up just in case Baines went, which I don't think he will. Hopefully we use the rest of the Fellaini cash on the best striker we can find and it will be a decent window.

Did they come back with another bid or is this the rejected offer?
Apparently we rejected it. If Felli is going to go surely we'd sign a striker, we don't need four strikers so i would be all for selling him or Jelavic. Would also allow us to spend even more money on a striker increasing the chances of us finally having a consistently great striker.

BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty

"I'm told talks between Everton and Manchester United are progressing and this deal should now be concluded successfully before the deadline, as most of us have expected.

It is understood Fellaini has been given permission to delay linking up with the Belgium squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Croatia to enable him to complete the transfer - once it's all been agreed of course."

If the fee is just the 24mil, I'll only be happy if it ends up in 4 players coming in. McCarthy, Barry on loan, Ince for a few million & a striker. If Vic is let go, an even better striker.

May be due to Barry's wage & might just be a back up plan, or could be instead of him but rumored circling we are interested in Fernando from Porto. 26 year old defensive mid, been pretty much ever present over the last few years for them winning titles etc

I like the look from I have seen on Fernando.
In normal circumstances I would happily accept 6 mill for Anichebe but he is needed at present.
