Don't know if we could find the cash for Fernando, McCarthy and a striker. Felliani wouldn't go for any more than 25m and them three would cost at least 35m.

I know you can never argue with DAVIDMOYES but I can still never be fully confident on anything Everton related.

Follow Everton closely because my bro follows them. Sad to see Fellaini leave, one of my favourite players, but unfortunately it was a matter of time before he left for Champions League football.

Really hoping Everton sign McCarthy, which is looking a pretty good chance with the Martinez connection, and hoping they can nab Demba Ba (if West Ham don't go for him). Really love Ba and I think he would be a great fit.

McCarthy and Barkley would be a hell of a partnership too, rotating between centre mid and attacking mid.

Basically, he isn't leaving Porto.

That was two days ago mate.

Most Everton fans are okay with the fact Felli could/will be sold, he's been here a long time now we're short for cash and we're entering a new era with a new manager so the money we could get for Felli would really help Martinez shape the team.

I also agree mate, McCarthy would make a very good singing, still pretty young too. I really hope we can land Demba Ba too mate, we're in desperate need of a classy proven striker and won't cost an arm and a leg not looking to good of it happening unfortunately though.

Maybe it wasn't from two days ago, i seen a screen shot saying it wasn't two days ago.

I don't think i can take much more of this, I'm off to bed. I really hope I can wake up to seeing us make three really good signings.

Last minute deals..apparently

Fellaini to Man U -27.5mil

Barry & Lukaku in on season long loan deals. Lukaku has tweeted he's joined us. The Fellaini deal could pave way for McCarthy though if a fee was agreed with Wigan before the deadline.

Okay, no Fernando but!!

LUKAKU!!! That is a ridiculously good signing. Absolutely brilliant from Everton.

And how about fleecing 27.5 million from United?!? Not even arsed we paid a couple overs for McCarthy because we made it all back and then some on the Fellaini deal. Always been happy with Barry, that's a great deal.

We've killed it in the end. LUKAKU THOUGH!!

Loan with option to buy I'm hoping! Still waiting on confirmation of Fellaini/McCarthy etc, but apparently Anichebe has joined WBA, anywhere from 3.5-5mil I'd presume. Some quick figures if what's being said is true, is that Fellaini & Vic would be about 31mil together, and McCarthy will cost about 13mil. So off Bill's saying that any sales would be 100% back towards the squad, minus the loan fees we should still have over 15mil available come January, on top of anything extra we may have had or what can become available. Now just to hope we have turned the corner & it doesn't dissipate like usual. Loans paper the cracks, but our squad is still tiny

I can't say I am happy. Mainly because history shows us the money will not be available in January. In theory we should have 20 odd mill still to spend. I like Barry and Lukaku but they are only loan deals and we have no option to buy Lukaku. We will be back in the same situation in less than a year.

While I'm a bit sad to see Fellaini go, I'm very happy to see the amount of money we got for him. Bit more disappointed Vic has gone to West Brom because I thought he had finally come good last season.

Very happy with the new arrivals though.

I am pretty sure I read it in the sun.... so must be true.:)
But it is vital we still spend the money in January. What in the hell happened to Fernando.

I am still not sure whether I tihnk it is a good or bad transfer window haha. I think we got much more for Fellaini and for Anichebe than they are worth. But only having 1 permanent signing McCarthy coming in for me lowers the success rate.

If it turns out we do have a buyout clause for Lukaku then my view will change somewhat. The concern with Barry is the cash he is on so I can only seeing this being a stop gap solution for the season. I guess overall I am happy with the squad, especially with Baines remaining. Hopefully having Barry and Gibson when fit will see Osman out of the mix.

90% sure Barry will end up permanent, he's available on a free at the end of the season.

I rate McCarthy, so I'm delighted with that. Lukaku is a complete beast, and if nothing else I cannot wait to see him play for Everton for a season.

I think we've done really, really well.
