After a week full of controversy for both sides, it was great to see the eagles overpower the roos at subi- I won't waste my time trying to write a match report, because i arrived late and didn't see the whole thing. In the second half though, our midfield basically ripped the roos apart. Cousins was far and away the best player on the field, and underlined a usual high possession game with four goals, but got a lot of support from other midfield players.
On the reports well Brent Harvey is definitely in trouble, of the other two, macintosh, well, 50-50, and Willow should be fine, although his reputation as such a hard at the ball player could hurt him with the cretins in the tribunal. Here's keeping our fingers crossed they both get clean bills of health for round one, because on the basis of another strong performance, fremantle had better watch themselves.

Ok, can SOMEONE clear this up please

Was T-Train reported by the match umpire, or are you thinking he will get reported by trial by video, as this game is not for trial by video review.
Please clear this up, i have heard he was/wasn't reported by the umpire, so just wanna know
cheers!

What did Milly do?

Dont know the details of it but he was booked for Unduly Rough Play. What the **** is that charge anyways? Seems to me when the umpires cant think of a charge they file it under that category. Ive always found in previous instances that whenever I see footage of a charge of "Unduly Rough Play" it can be put into other categories such as Charging or Striking. Maybe Unduly Rough Play is considered less severe or moe severe who knows. Anyways the official reports as it stands at this point in time is Milli and Fletcher for us and Harvey for the roos. As for video charges I dont know what will happen, I know from the footage from the news Trent Carroll could come close on a charge of stealing Chris Jericho's running forearm strike manouvre but who knows. Didnt know anything about Cannonball Wilson's efforts but we can always site precedence on this one. Shannon Grant, Anthony Stevens, I know there is at least one morebut I cant think of the particular player. Either way we have a strong case for stupid players trying to stand in his path. Nothing untowards there.

Chris Jericho? Doesn't he play for the Glory?

Hahaha, no, Jericho is a professional wrestler in the WWF. Though I suppose you could draw parallels between the two seeing how badly the Soccer players fake injuries.

If he's been cited for Unduly Rough Play, that's good news, because the umpires rarely make that stick. I had guessed it was for striking.

Do they have access to the video for practice games? I thought not.

Was the game being shown on the big screen? If so then the game must of been taped by the Eagles, but not the AFL. If this is the case, I'd destroy, err... lose the evidence!
